Durex play quiver - lubricant discontinued by Durex - review by RainbowBrite

When I first saw the Durex Play Quiver I knew I had to have it. I've always been a gal that loves temperature play and hoped that this would be what I was looking for, a freezable lubricant. The directions seemed simple enough...pop a cube into the freezer for 2 hours...plan your night...play!

My first thoughts were pretty good, the sizing of the cube was perfect for play, not too small that it would be hard to handle, not too big that it was overwhelming. While the size of the cube was good for handling, I did think that the amount of lube was a bit too much for me, since it melts at a nice pace I found that we were ready for action before the cube was completely melted. Amazingly the cube didn't seem as cold as an ice cube which was perfect, enough to linger or go slowly without thoughts of freezing a nipple off in the process. I did find that the melted lube is a bit thicker than regular lube, but thinned as it heated with contact. With this consistency I was a bit worried that it would leave sticky trails, but happily found that it did not become sticky or tacky. There was a bit of residue afterward, but nothing that wouldn't clean up easily. I didn't find that this lube had an unpleasant scent, nor can I comment about taste. My husband did nibble on my shoulder after use and when I asked if there was any taste he said that he didn't notice anything bad. He said that he had forgotten that he used the cube there and didn't remember any specific taste.

My husband and I are always up for temperature play or for a slippery good time and this completely fit the bill! I did think the price was a bit much for a 6 lube blister pack, but for the fun we had & convenience of this product I'd definitely continue purchasing.
