Tingle gel - arousal lube by Doc Johnson - review by TheCoz

My wife and I found this product to be best used during the foreplay experience of our night. The gel can be used on both men and women, but judging from my wife's reactions I'm thinking this is more suited for her. It states that this product is water based and petroleum free, so I do not think there will be any allergy concerns for those that might be sensitive to such things. I do, however, recommend experimenting with just a small amount at first. A little can go a long way.

Because this gel is water based, its consistency is more of a runny jelly. It is not sticky at all (which is nice), and the velvety texture was quite pleasant. This made it one of the more enjoyable feeling lubes/gels we've experience during application. Once applied to the area of choice, it dissolves quite quickly without any strange residue. We both recommend that you store this someplace room temperature. I made the mistake of leaving this out in the cold for a few hours. While the consistency had not changed, it was like dipping my finger in an ice bath (definitely didn't want to apply it right then).

Upon opening the container for the first time, there was a very noticeable smell of cherries. It was an artificial smell (think cough drops or candy). While it wasn't unpleasant, it was a bit overbearing. The scent is not very prominent once applied, and that was fine by me. As far as the taste, I found it sweet and not overly chemically at all. I noticed a bit of a cherry taste, but it was nowhere near as strong as the initial scent. Because the gel dries and dissolves quickly with no residue, all that was remaining was a sweetness that made oral all that more enjoyable.

The product container was a decent size. A little does go a long way, so I could see getting a good 25-50 uses out of it(judging on how sensitive you are to it). It does dissolve quickly though, so you may need a bit for reapplication. As far as cleanup, there will be a residual tingle left behind. You may want to rinse yourself off with a bit of soap and water. We have yet to get any of this on the sheets, so I do not know if it will stain fabric.

We did both find the velvety texture to be enjoyable upon application, but that's all we could agree on. My wife loves this product. She finds that the tingle/cooling sensation makes her clit all that more sensitive. I, on the other hand, found it to be just okay. There are so many other tingle gels on the market that I find to be stronger and that I can feel more. This one tingled, just not enough for me to feel or enjoy it.

The product had no packaging and came in a jar. This does keep it from drying out, but it is difficult to fumble around with in the bedroom. It's probably best to open the jar and place it on the nightstand before the activities begin.

For a woman, the tingle sensation is very noticeable. As I mentioned many times before, a little goes a long way. It is especially great when applying to the clitoris due to the increase in sensitivity it caused. As for the guy, there is not much of a tingle. There are better products on the market that can be enjoyed.
