Bath kitten kit - bubble bath by Booty Parlor - review by ~LaUr3n~

Seemingly an excellent gift idea, the Bath Kitten set from Booty Parlor looks great and has high class. I love to take a relaxing bath every once in a while and thought this set would be a great addition to my sudsing experiences. However, it failed for me in too many ways for me to even actually gift this based on my experience. The duo set comes with a bath mitten and a good amount of foaming shower gel. Inside of the mitt is a vibrating bullet. How fun! You can always insert a more powerful waterproof bullet. The mitten works great, facilitating lather, but takes a life and a half to dry. For that, you could try blow drying it or throwing it in a dryer, although I have not yet. The bullet is great by itself, but the vibrations get lost inside of the mitten. The worst part for me is the shower gel, its sickeningly sweet aroma made me a bit ill. It's just not a scent for me. I can easily use one of my own bath gels instead. While the experience I've had is less than desirable, I still think this set is really cute and a great idea.

The massage bath mitt is covered in a soft white terry cloth. For some reason, I gives me the willies. By that I mean it gives me goosebumps. It really is soft, but it feels like it catches up my skin when it is soft. When water is added this feeling goes away and no longer bothers me. It glides easily over the skin, even more so when bath gel is added. The strap has a different outer material that is not listed, but my guess is that it is some sort of polyester blend. It is very smooth and silk like.

The bullet is made of a black plastic with a matte texture to it. It feels high quality and is free of chemicals and allergens. If you decide to use the bullet by itself remember that even though plastic is a safe non-porous material, and it is hypo-allergenic, it cannot be sterilized. Remember that when sharing.

The bath milk is silky and provides a great lather when it is rubbed around. It is easy enough to pour and is thick. A little goes a long way! I'll discuss the bath milk more in the next section.

This kit comes with the Naughty Bubbles Bath Milk. For me, the scent is way too sweet. It's a bit nauseating. The product page describes it as chocolate and honey. I'd say that is pretty accurate especially the honey part. It seems that plenty of people like the scent, but it is too much for me. It's also very strong. So strong that it stays detectible on the terry cloth even after another washing. I can say that the lather is great and it doesn't leave residue. It leaves the skin feeling very smooth.

The mitt is very large, a good size for all over body scrubbing. It is 5" across and 2" tall. The inside is filled with a foam that has a slit in the middle for the bullet. It's plush but keeps the form of the mitt well. The bullet inside is held there by velcro. It's a normal sized bullet 2 1/8" in length and 3/4" wide. It has one speed and that level is pretty nice. It has deep vibrations for a bullet. The push button is easy to push outside of the mitt, but kind of hard to locate and press when it is inside.

The handle for the mitt is comfortable for my hand and the mitt is easy to slide around my body. I can feel the vibrations against my skin but it isn't anything amazing and the vibrations certainly can't be used to produce any kind of stimulation or orgasm. I suppose if you were already turned on it might stimulate you, but there was no way I could finish from this. Was it relaxing? Sure as hell it was! I guess I just expected something more. It's very quiet and discreet, so you can use it in the bath even with a door cracked open.

The packaging is great! The bullet comes placed in the mitt and the mitt and bath gel come in a plastic tray. This plastic tray slides into a cardboard box with a plastic pane on the top. This slides into a baby pink cardboard box with a cute textured top with raised lettering and graphics. The top says "Booty Parlor" presents "Bath Kitten-the ultimate bath time escape kit". It lists the kit contents. The side goes into more detail about the ingredients while the back describes the products therein.

The bath milk comes in a really cute bottle. it contains 5 fluid ounces of the bath gel and is plenty to last a long time. The bottle is discreet and I love the round shape. The top unscrews and the gel easily pours out.

After everything is said and done, it takes at least 24 hours to dry if you just let it sit on your tub side!
