How long can you and your partner last in the shower before it gets too awkward? Eventually, my skin dries out and it's no fun anymore.

Well, for every minute you are in the shower, you are running 6-7 gallons of water down the drain. So if you are in there 30 minutes, that is 180-210 gallons of water. If you think in terms of the milk section at the grocery store, and think of seeing that many milk jugs in front of you, then you will have a visual of how much water you are using.

I go stir crazy if I'm in the shower more than 10 minutes. I just get bored standing there if I'm done actually washing myself.
