I purchased the Pleasure Swing as a holiday gift for my sweetie, who is wanting to make a serious basement playspace. I’d read many reviews, and this swing seemed the best option. When it arrived, I was surprised at the weight of the box – while the swing seat and loops are lightweight material, the top cross bar and spring are serious hardware. The product description said this swing could hold up to 400 lbs, and while I’ve not tried it with that much weight yet, I believe the assertion!
A few days after she received her present, and before we hauled the box downstairs, we went to play at a friend’s house. She had the same swing, already installed and ready to use, so use it we did. Which much initial laughter, we each took turns climbing in. The seat, back, and feet loops are easy to use and position. Adjusting the length of each loop was a little trickier, but only because the slide buckles are designed to hold tight, as they should be. That moment when your feet are up and you feel your body being moved so effortlessly, yet out of your control, is surprising yet delightful. Once you are seated, your partner can rotate you, change your angle, and bounce you using the spring. I am a big woman, and even so I was floating up off the floor at A Very Convenient Height.
The Pleasure Swing is extremely supportive, safe, and stable. It is also, overall, quite comfortable. I found the lack of a head/neck brace tiring, but improvised my own, which make the swing even better. I also made good use of the metal cross brace; holding firmly on to it gave me more control over my body’s position so I could aid my partner as she moved onto, and into, me. I did find that the foot loops took careful adjusting – too far out and my knees grew tired, but too close in pushed my body too far back over the seat.
Is the swing as fun as it looks? Yes. It is a stable as the product description claims? Yes again! Will it enable you to bend over backwards, head on the floor on one side and feet on the floor on the other, as per the photo on the box? Yes again – if that’s something you can already do. This is a sex swing, after all, not a personal trainer...

Experience
I played in this swing with my sweetie, who was entering me with her hands and her strap-on. The swing held me at a fairly good height for both, given the limitations of the ceiling height in the room we were in. We’ll definitely add some flexibility in the height when we hang our own. Since the swing hangs from a large spring, it will hang lower the more weight you put into it. That she could move my body so easily thrilled her, and was definitely a charge for her as a Top. With no pressure on my lower back from her thrusting, and without the feel of my hips being pushed, we could fuck for a very long time. My neck grew weary before anything else, as I found I either had to hold my head forward or let it fall back at an uncomfortable angle. We put its neck strap behind my neck, then wrapped the ties meant for legs over the metal cross bar at the top of the swing. This left the “ankle straps” open to be used for wrist bondage, an unplanned but interesting discovery. Once they were attached to my wrists, I could raise or lower my head by how I positioned my hands, which definitely increased my comfort. This worked so well that we left the sling as a gift for our hostess, and are planning to buy another for our own swing.
So far, we’ve tried the swing in only one position – me sitting upright while she stood in front of me. We’ll work on more, I’m sure, and I’ll include them in my follow-up. The only drawback I still have to solve is how the side buckles of the seat strap pushed into my abundant hips. Those of you with narrower hips should have no problem, and be very comfy, but I’m searching for some kind of support that will hold the strap a little wider so I can stay in the swing longer. Even so, the stability of the swing under my weight was amazing – I climbed into it with trepidation, because it seemed to be only a few straps and a spring, but found it to be solid and supportive. What a well designed toy!

This is still a fun sex aid, and definitely adds a sense of play and adventure as you explore the possibilities of motion. I've not yet found a way to make the seat completely comfortable, which limits the duration of play but not the pleasure or entertainment. By next summer, I want to get a stand so I can playing outside. If you've tried this, I'd love to hear how it worked for you!

Hmm, I'm not sure to be honest. I would suggest submitting a support ticket or calling to ask about it. Customer service can often give you a pretty good idea of when something will be back in stock :)

I see on the product page for the Pleasure Swing that under "required" it says "add universal sex swing stand". This might be a stupid question, but as I've never owned a swing before, I'll ask it anyway: does it require the stand or is that just a recommendation?

It does not require the stand. The stand is optional. If you are okay with screwing into your ceiling, then you just need to purchase the swing. If you don't want to screw into your ceiling, then the Sex Swing Stand makes it so you don't have to screw it into the ceiling. That make sense?

Fun! Much better than the over-the-door kind. A friend has one of those and we looked so stupid in it that we took pictures - and not the good kind.
