It is my bag, baby!
I won this bag on the Eden forums and I am very satisfied with it. It is not big enough to hold more than a few toys and maybe some batteries, but it is just what I needed at this point in time. It is beautiful to look at, as well as being soft to the touch.Published: December 15, 2011
Pros:
soft, holds several toys and batteries, sturdy drawstring closure, affordable, slightly padded
Cons:
wish it were bigger and in more colors
Ever needed something sturdy to keep that special battery operated boyfriend in? Well, look no further than an Eden toy pouch. It is made of cotton and polyester, although, it doesn't feel like that to me. To me the outside is so velvety soft and the inside is smooth like satin. I got my toy pouch in black. The outside has the Eden logo beaded along one side. The pouch itself is about 10 1/2 inches long and almost 5 inches wide. It has no substantial weight to it until you start adding toys to it.
I was able to fit a bottle of Slippery Kitty, my Picobong Honi, my Cal Exotics clit stimulator, a Metal Jewels Sensuous G, 4 AAA batteries, 4 AA batteries, my freebie Eden Fantasys vibrating ring for couples and a package of Eden toy wipes. I was still able to stick my hand into the bag and move it around til I found what I wanted without it being too tight to fit my hand in the bag. The bag feels very sturdy. After I tightened the drawstring and put the bag away, it stayed tightly closed until I opened it again by pulling the collar of the bag apart.
This bag is a joy to have and I will definitely be getting a purple one as well. Having this bag makes it easy to travel with one or two special toys, without alerting anyone to what you're hiding. Just place your toys into the bag, put the bag in between some clothing in your suitcase and you are good to go. No one will be the wiser.
This bag will work best for toys that are no more than 9 inches long, so you don't have anything stick out of the end. Everyone who has ever bought a sex toy needs a bag like this. I hope that sometime in the future that Eden carries this bag in other colors and maybe other sizes as well. Buying this bag is a way to protect your toy and support Eden at the same time.

Experience
I adore this bag and it is an easy way for me to keep my toys from prying eyes. I would not be ashamed to have this bag in public. It is well put together and has light padding to protect my toys. I recommend that when new users buy their first toy that they also buy a bag or two to put them in, you won't regret this purchase.
Follow-up commentary

I still like the bag although the toys that fit in it aren't ones that I have been using much lately. I wish they came in bigger sizes and more colors. It's a great thing to have and store your toys in.

Toy storage

I wish you could buy the satin pouches that the Lelo vibes come with. I like all of my toys to have their own little pouches and haven't found any for sale that I really like. Do you use pouches for your toys that don't come with them and if so, do you like Eden's or do you buy other ones? I like Lelo's because they are not bulky but they keep the lint and things to a minimum.

I use the ones that come with toys. I put everything else in plastic bags or keep them in the box they came in. I would love to have better storage, but I cannot possibly buy 150+ little Eden pouches at $15 a pop.

How hard would it be to sell the little flimsy satin ones in bundles of, say, 10 or 12? They should be super cheap. That would be cake! And Eden gives away free gifts with most purchases anyway! Fascinations toy stores gives a free pouch with every toy over $50 that doesn't have it's own. They're still not ideal in my opinion. I like the satin ones better, but still.

Toy storage: How do you do it?
-
So I have a few different types of toy pouches. There's the thin pouches, such as the "toy pouch". Then there's the semi-thick pouches, such as the "Eden toy pouch". And then... there's.... the extremely thick, heavily padded pouches, such as the Phallix Pleasure Pouch, or the Xhale pouches that you recieve with their products.
I'm curious as to which toys you keep in which pouches, and what is your criteria? Do you only keep the really expensive glass toys in the expensive, heavily padded pouches? Or do you throw them wherever is convenient? Do you only use pouches for travel, and display your toys all over your home?
Some people prefer their dresser drawers, toy boxes, and even safes! So let us know! -

Especially those little cheap ones that come with SSA Glass toys. I use those to conceal toys, rather than to protect. So those pouches usually contain toys that aren't so breakable. Maybe a pocket rocket, silicone, or plastic toy. I hate storing any toys "naked" right next to one another, so that's another use for those cheap pouches.

Pouches like the "Eden Toy Pouch" will hold the more expensive, but not breakable toys. These will maybe hold a hard plastic G-Spot vibe. If I have a glass toy that I'm not too fond of anymore, maybe has a few scratches already and isn't one of my favorites, you'll find them in one of these.
Then, for the Phallix or Xhale pouches... These basically hold all my expensive, most treasured glass pieces. So for instance, my Violet Wonder, Icicles No. 24, Bumpy Fantasy, etc.
I also have toy boxes, and I put the bags into the boxes. I don't go as far as using a safe. That seems a little silly to me, unless I had kids or something. -
I keep ours in a safe in our bedroom. My kids cant find them and we dont have to worry about them getting lost. And it also gives me a place to keep papers I dont want to lose it there is ever a fire in the house.

Thank you for viewing Eden toy pouch – storage container review page!

Awesome review! I had no idea EF had storage bags. I read this at just the perfect time since I was about to make a purchase! Looks like I'll be adding this little baby to my purchase too. It's sure come in handy to replace those crappy bags glass toys tend to come in. I'm with you on wishing there were more colors to choosse from though.
Loved it! Nice job.
awesome job on the review!
I was at the party when you won this! I was so jealous lol thanks for the review hun!
Thanks you guys, I really like this bag and honestly when I started the review I could hear Austin Powers in my head..
@Kendra I think you'll love it, its so soft.
It looks good, but I prefer to have one toy per bag, so smaller bags would be more useful for me.
Thanks for the review.
Great review!
I wish mine was bigger, it didn't fit any of my toys that I wanted to store.
Great review!
Thanks for the review!
Great review! Thanks!
Thanks for review.
Thanks for the great review, and mentioning that it's slightly padded. I've been wondering why Eden doesn't sell padded pouches for glass toys. Thanks again
