Pretty, Perfectly Padded Toy Pouch
Eden Toy Pouches are a must for glass, ceramic, metal, or wood toys. They are perfectly padded and do not take up a lot of unnecessary space in your toy box. They are durable and roomy and will last a lifetime...and help your toys do the same!Published: November 8, 2010
Pros:
gorgeous, just enough padding, well made, durable
Cons:
limited color choice
I tend to get a little bit excited about toy storage. Like...oddly so. As excited as I get about the toys themselves. Sometimes, this over-excitement leads to a big fat let down. Not the case with the Eden Toy Pouch!
I love it. I love it love it love it!
The Eden Pouches are over ten inches long and about five inches wide, making them plenty big for most toys. Heck, you could throw a few in there if you didn't have to worry about them feeling each other up. The pouches have a super soft, velvety material on the outside and you get a choice of purple or black. I went with black, because I am awesome (what?). The inside of the pouch is hot pink and satiny regardless of the color you choose.
The pouches are padded, but not crazy-puffy-pillow padded. You know what I'm talking about. You ordered that sweet glass wand and thought "It comes with it's own storage bag? Fabulous!" Only to be greeted by an unwieldy fluffy monstrosity that doesn't begin to fit in your cute little toy box. Well friend, order one (or two) of these babies. They provide enough cushion for your glass (or metal, or wood, or ceramic) toys without being huge and ridiculous. They also have a nice corded drawstring closure that isn't going to break and actually keeps the pouches closed. Win.
The pouches are very well made. Nothing about them looks cheap. I am not always a fan of bedazzled things, but the Eden logo is done very tastefully in pretty rhinestones and nail heads. The logo has been done very well...you don't have to worry about losing half of your rhinestones through normal wear and tear. While the pouches are quite durable, should you need to wash them, I suggest hand washing and laying flat to dry.
These pouches are functional and beautiful. If you are the generous type, they could even make a pretty gift bag at a bachelorette party.

Experience
I can find absolutely zero design flaws with the Eden Toy Pouches. The exterior and interior are exceptionally well done. They are very sturdy and will prolong the life of my glass and metal toys. Have I mentioned that I love them? Because I do. Any toy I am worried about breaking or scratching or chipping lives in one of these bags.
Follow-up commentary

I want a million of these. Okay...a hundred will suffice. I love these pouches...as I have previously mentioned. Mine have held up very well...and they have kept all of my toys safe. No stitching has started to come undone, I haven't lost any of the rhinestones that make up the logo...everything is as perfect as the day I received it. Truly a perfect storage solution for you more fragile toys.

Toy storage

I wish you could buy the satin pouches that the Lelo vibes come with. I like all of my toys to have their own little pouches and haven't found any for sale that I really like. Do you use pouches for your toys that don't come with them and if so, do you like Eden's or do you buy other ones? I like Lelo's because they are not bulky but they keep the lint and things to a minimum.

I use the ones that come with toys. I put everything else in plastic bags or keep them in the box they came in. I would love to have better storage, but I cannot possibly buy 150+ little Eden pouches at $15 a pop.

How hard would it be to sell the little flimsy satin ones in bundles of, say, 10 or 12? They should be super cheap. That would be cake! And Eden gives away free gifts with most purchases anyway! Fascinations toy stores gives a free pouch with every toy over $50 that doesn't have it's own. They're still not ideal in my opinion. I like the satin ones better, but still.

Toy storage: How do you do it?
-
So I have a few different types of toy pouches. There's the thin pouches, such as the "toy pouch". Then there's the semi-thick pouches, such as the "Eden toy pouch". And then... there's.... the extremely thick, heavily padded pouches, such as the Phallix Pleasure Pouch, or the Xhale pouches that you recieve with their products.
I'm curious as to which toys you keep in which pouches, and what is your criteria? Do you only keep the really expensive glass toys in the expensive, heavily padded pouches? Or do you throw them wherever is convenient? Do you only use pouches for travel, and display your toys all over your home?
Some people prefer their dresser drawers, toy boxes, and even safes! So let us know! -

Especially those little cheap ones that come with SSA Glass toys. I use those to conceal toys, rather than to protect. So those pouches usually contain toys that aren't so breakable. Maybe a pocket rocket, silicone, or plastic toy. I hate storing any toys "naked" right next to one another, so that's another use for those cheap pouches.

Pouches like the "Eden Toy Pouch" will hold the more expensive, but not breakable toys. These will maybe hold a hard plastic G-Spot vibe. If I have a glass toy that I'm not too fond of anymore, maybe has a few scratches already and isn't one of my favorites, you'll find them in one of these.
Then, for the Phallix or Xhale pouches... These basically hold all my expensive, most treasured glass pieces. So for instance, my Violet Wonder, Icicles No. 24, Bumpy Fantasy, etc.
I also have toy boxes, and I put the bags into the boxes. I don't go as far as using a safe. That seems a little silly to me, unless I had kids or something. -
I keep ours in a safe in our bedroom. My kids cant find them and we dont have to worry about them getting lost. And it also gives me a place to keep papers I dont want to lose it there is ever a fire in the house.

Thank you for viewing Eden toy pouch – storage container review page!

Great review!
Good review!
Nice review, nice bag. Glad they have multiple colors (not that I mind purple too much).
Great review - glad you like the bag so much
Good review. Are they "fuzzy" on the inside? I hate fuzzies getting on my toys, so we use the Sugar Saks, which are satiny and have no lint at all.
These are cute, I like that they are slightly padded. The Sugar Saks are two layers of material but are sadly left unpadded.
Thanks. thanks, thanks, and thanks
Victoria - I love them.
P'Gell - They are satiny on the inside...not at all fuzzy. I love Sugar Saks as well; I keep anything that I am not worried about breaking or scratching in those...I wish EF carried them!
Thanks, satiny on the inside is good. I love my Sugar Saks. But, for breakable things, it looks like the Eden Bags are great.
We have to talk Eden into carrying Sugar Saks. I need some new ones.
I love my pouches too. They're so nice.
If only they had them in other colors-You're right. Great review!
Thanks for the review!
How cute! I love it! It's on my wishlist now.
Thanks for the review!
Great review. I'm always debating about storage bags and you've sold me on these. More colors would be great. Then you could color code your toys. Thanks!
Great review, I have been wanting a few myself for other things besides toys. i am glad to hear that its still holding up and non of the stones have fallen off.
They really are great bags...I seriously wish every glass toy I bought came with one.
I have some other bags, but they don't look nearly as nice! Thanks for the review.
I really need to buy more of these. I have a couple glass dildos that are sharing!
love the gift bag idea!
Thank you
Good job on the review
