Protect your toys in style.
I love this pouch!! It's cute, stylish, and great place to store your toys. The EdenFantasys toy pouch does not just come in purple, but also black so it will work for almost anyone. The only thing that I found that this product lacked is padding. While it is great for storing all kinds of toys, it is not ideal for glass toys. But despite that this product is a 10 in my book.Published: June 28, 2011
Pros:
Smooth material, Double drawstring, Long enough to accomodate most toys.
Cons:
Very little padding.
Use
The EdenFantasys Toy pouch is made to keep your toys safe from harm and from lint! This pouch is perfect for storing your silicone, jelly, and plastic toys. Due to the lack of padding I would not recommend this pouch for glass toys; especially if your like me and you're kind of accident prone.
Material/Texture
The outer layer of this pouch is made from a polyester/cotton mix that feels similar to suede; it comes in purple or black. Small pink and green gems spell out the EdenFantasys logo complete with the leaf. Now the inside is lined in pink silk; this allows for the toys to slide easily into the pouch. That is all except for silicone toys, they like to get stuck on the silk. The black drawstring is made from a smooth piece of rope. The overall texture of this pouch is very soft and smooth. I would say that is a very high quality pouch.
Design/Shape/Size
As far as the shape goes it is rectangular, with the drawstring opening at the top of the pouch. The bag measures 10 1/2" by 4 3/4". When it is closed it can house toys up to 9" long and 4" wide. So the size of the pouch will be more than adequate for most toys
Functions/Performance
The pouches main function is to store your toys. And the second one it to protect them from harm. This pouch does an excellent job at both functions. I would suggest though not to use this with glass toys, the lack of significant padding may not prevent the toy from breaking if dropped. As far as performance goes I would say that it performs well. I have had it for about 3-4 months and it looks the same as it did on day one. So no wear and tear so far, which is a really good thing.
Care/Maintenance
The pouch can be spot cleaned with mild soap and warm water or some mild detergent. Or if it's in need of some deep cleaning you can turn it inside out and place it in the wash with like colors. Make sure the wash cycle is on gentle and the water temp is cold. When it is done you can toss it in the dryer (still inside out) and set it onto tumble dry or air dry. Both will do, just make sure to check it often and not leave it in there too long.
Packaging
When you recieve your EdenFantasys pouch in the mail you might be surprised. When you open the delivery box you will notice that the delivery box is all that's to the packaging of this item. That's right it doesn't come in a plastic bag or a special box, it's just the pouch sitting in the bottom of the delivery box.

Toy storage

I wish you could buy the satin pouches that the Lelo vibes come with. I like all of my toys to have their own little pouches and haven't found any for sale that I really like. Do you use pouches for your toys that don't come with them and if so, do you like Eden's or do you buy other ones? I like Lelo's because they are not bulky but they keep the lint and things to a minimum.

I use the ones that come with toys. I put everything else in plastic bags or keep them in the box they came in. I would love to have better storage, but I cannot possibly buy 150+ little Eden pouches at $15 a pop.

How hard would it be to sell the little flimsy satin ones in bundles of, say, 10 or 12? They should be super cheap. That would be cake! And Eden gives away free gifts with most purchases anyway! Fascinations toy stores gives a free pouch with every toy over $50 that doesn't have it's own. They're still not ideal in my opinion. I like the satin ones better, but still.

Toy storage: How do you do it?
-
So I have a few different types of toy pouches. There's the thin pouches, such as the "toy pouch". Then there's the semi-thick pouches, such as the "Eden toy pouch". And then... there's.... the extremely thick, heavily padded pouches, such as the Phallix Pleasure Pouch, or the Xhale pouches that you recieve with their products.
I'm curious as to which toys you keep in which pouches, and what is your criteria? Do you only keep the really expensive glass toys in the expensive, heavily padded pouches? Or do you throw them wherever is convenient? Do you only use pouches for travel, and display your toys all over your home?
Some people prefer their dresser drawers, toy boxes, and even safes! So let us know! -

Especially those little cheap ones that come with SSA Glass toys. I use those to conceal toys, rather than to protect. So those pouches usually contain toys that aren't so breakable. Maybe a pocket rocket, silicone, or plastic toy. I hate storing any toys "naked" right next to one another, so that's another use for those cheap pouches.

Pouches like the "Eden Toy Pouch" will hold the more expensive, but not breakable toys. These will maybe hold a hard plastic G-Spot vibe. If I have a glass toy that I'm not too fond of anymore, maybe has a few scratches already and isn't one of my favorites, you'll find them in one of these.
Then, for the Phallix or Xhale pouches... These basically hold all my expensive, most treasured glass pieces. So for instance, my Violet Wonder, Icicles No. 24, Bumpy Fantasy, etc.
I also have toy boxes, and I put the bags into the boxes. I don't go as far as using a safe. That seems a little silly to me, unless I had kids or something. -
I keep ours in a safe in our bedroom. My kids cant find them and we dont have to worry about them getting lost. And it also gives me a place to keep papers I dont want to lose it there is ever a fire in the house.

Thank you for viewing Eden toy pouch – storage container review page!

great review, thanks. I have not seen these on the site before this review. Too bad they do not have padding for glass toys. I could use a few.
It has a little bit of padding, but with me being accident prone (lol) I just like my glass toy bag to be well padded.
Thank you
