Sweet Travel
Simple, cute, functional. Do you need anything else? Not the biggest of pouches, but the Eden Toy Pouch is exactly what it seems to be and does it's job well. Great for your favorite toy- or toys- and taking them on the road. Did I mention it's velvety smoothness? That's nice too.Published: December 21, 2009
Pros:
Cute, simple, discreet.
Cons:
Silky inside doesn't work well with TPR toys.
The Eden Toy Pouch is a simple toy storage pouch for toys and accessories. Velvet soft outside; very soft and very pretty. I'm not sure how it'll hold up to time and travel, but for the moment it's cute and simple. The "edenfantasys" logo is in green and pink dots. A simple black cord pulls it closed.
It's not particularly large, and doesn't fit my smaller rabbit-style vibrators particularly well at all. But it works fine for a single, average sized toy, and is absolutely perfect for travel, and just to keep toys separated.
The pouch's one fault is it's silky pink insides. While it feels nice to the touch, and plastic toys slip right in, other materials aren't quite as compatible, particularly TPR. I have quite a few TPR toys and they're typically thick and fun to use, but the material catches against the silky insides and just won't go in. Plastic toys, however, slide in smoothly, and fit perfectly. Luckily I have no shortage of those.
Unfortunately, the pouch came with no sort of packaging. In it's (discreet) shipping box, the pouch was simply contained in a plastic sleeve. Not a big deal, but there was no information about its material or anything, which would have been nice.
At the moment, mine holds a selection of my favorite smaller toys and accessories. A bullet, pocket rocket, some lubricant, and a good stash of condoms. A few spare new batteries is also helpful. No more running off to another room when a toy starts to wind down during playtime. Always easy to reach on my bedside table, and no one looking in has any idea what's inside. And when I'm on the move, there's no searching around for my favorite toys in different boxes, bags, or drawers; just grab the Eden Pouch and get going.

Experience
I'm a sucker for toy storage, and I love the simple cuteness of this pouch. It fits my favorites, looks good, and is a certain level of discreet. No more plastic baggies for my toys!
Follow-up commentary

I actually surprised myself by holding on to this pouch and not losing it, and I still love it. I've had it for awhile now and it doesn't seem to show any major wear and tear, which I think shows its durability. And it still looks clean, which is another plus. I'm really happy with it, even now.

Toy storage: How do you do it?
-
So I have a few different types of toy pouches. There's the thin pouches, such as the "toy pouch". Then there's the semi-thick pouches, such as the "Eden toy pouch". And then... there's.... the extremely thick, heavily padded pouches, such as the Phallix Pleasure Pouch, or the Xhale pouches that you recieve with their products.
I'm curious as to which toys you keep in which pouches, and what is your criteria? Do you only keep the really expensive glass toys in the expensive, heavily padded pouches? Or do you throw them wherever is convenient? Do you only use pouches for travel, and display your toys all over your home?
Some people prefer their dresser drawers, toy boxes, and even safes! So let us know! -

Especially those little cheap ones that come with SSA Glass toys. I use those to conceal toys, rather than to protect. So those pouches usually contain toys that aren't so breakable. Maybe a pocket rocket, silicone, or plastic toy. I hate storing any toys "naked" right next to one another, so that's another use for those cheap pouches.

Pouches like the "Eden Toy Pouch" will hold the more expensive, but not breakable toys. These will maybe hold a hard plastic G-Spot vibe. If I have a glass toy that I'm not too fond of anymore, maybe has a few scratches already and isn't one of my favorites, you'll find them in one of these.
Then, for the Phallix or Xhale pouches... These basically hold all my expensive, most treasured glass pieces. So for instance, my Violet Wonder, Icicles No. 24, Bumpy Fantasy, etc.
I also have toy boxes, and I put the bags into the boxes. I don't go as far as using a safe. That seems a little silly to me, unless I had kids or something. -
I keep ours in a safe in our bedroom. My kids cant find them and we dont have to worry about them getting lost. And it also gives me a place to keep papers I dont want to lose it there is ever a fire in the house.

Thank you for viewing Eden toy pouch – storage container review page!

Oh, purple velvet, I love it! Thanks for the review
Purple velvet is beautiful. I love this bag. It looks so soft, too. Thanks for the review.
I love these bags! Great review.
I had been wondering about these bags. Thanks for reviewing one and for the tip about TPR toys.
That's a very good tip about the TPR.
Good review
I agree. Thanks for letting us know about the TPR!
Good to know about the insides. Actually, I'm really cautious about the inside of all my toy storage and wish it could all be non-porous and/or anti-bacterial but I only have one container which falls into that category.
Thanks for the review!
In the overview, it says it's slightly padded and safe for glass toys... What's the padding like?
I like the colors!
@Lithaewyn- It does have a decent amount of padding, but I don't think it has enough that I'd feel comfortable dropping it with a glass toy inside....
Thanks for a fantastic review!
thanks for the review
can't believe it never dawned on me that it could be used as a great travel bag!
I really want to get one of these, thanks for the review.
Really good review; thank you!
I'm wondering what the padding looks like in these. Anyone have any pics of it? Nice review.
Great review, thanks for the TPR tip!
