Get Wet!
This is a great, basic, reliable lubricant for personal and partner play. I recommend it as a "turn-to" lubricant for basic use.Published: February 2, 2011
Pros:
Non-sticky, long-lasting, and easily reactivated with saliva or water.
Cons:
It's a little runny and takes a bit of practice to not make a mess with it.
Previously I only used thicker gel-style lubricants, but when my regular lubricant was out of stock I was forced to explore something new. I was concerned when I got Wet Original lube because the substance was so thin and I was afraid I was going to go through a bottle in no time at all. This lube has redefined "less is more" for me. A very small amount of this lube (usually about a dime to quarter size drop) is always plenty to get me started and then some!
It feels very smooth, and lasts quite a long time even with vigorous use. The lubricant has a slight bitter taste, and no odor. I wouldn't recommend this for oral, both because of the slight bitter taste, and because it isn't made as an oral lube.
I've had problems with other lubes becoming sticky and gooey and generally unpleasant during use, but so far I haven't run into that with Wet Original. Although it does contain glycerin, I don't end up with that syrupy, sticky feeling, or with gooey clumps of lube from friction. Also, because it is water based, a little bit of saliva or water will reactivate the lube when it starts to lose its slippery goodness. Another plus of this lube being so "non-sticky" is that you don't have to get up and run to the shower as soon as you're done. You could probably just wipe down with a towel and wait until your next shower.
I've heard of women having problems with glycerin causing vaginal infections, but I've been a regular user of products with glycerin and have not run into any problems. As always, hygiene is going to play a big part in this problem. If you're prone to infections, make sure to wash off any areas that the lube has been used on, especially if you're sensitive to glycerin in lubricants. I generally just wipe off with a wet towel after use and clean more thoroughly during my morning shower, but that's just how my body reacts to glycerin. You may be required to use more or less caution to avoid infections.
The water-based lubricant is easy to clean off of bodies and toys; warm water with or without soap will get it right off every time.
I also love that this product comes in a wide variety of sizes, so you can have a big one for home and an itty-bitty one for travel!
Overall, I've found this to be a great basic lubricant, and it will be a staple in my toybox from now on!

I have been using ID pleasure for years. I tried WET and it seemed to be a bit more watered down to me. Not a bad thing just not my thing.
Anyonee lse have this going for you too? -
I used to hate Wet products, they came off as cheap.
Until I tried their synergy line. I fell in love with both the original, and the tingle lubricant.
The Synergy is water and silicone mixed, which produces a gel. I hate water down lubricants.
As long as you don't use it with silicone toys, its fine. -
I used to feel the same way about wet

Why not the same looking containers for this product?

Why is the 3.5, the 4.8, and the 10 oz bottles of this lubricant sold in cool looking bottles, while the 0.8 amount and the 1.5 sold in smaller, weirder shapes? Why not miniatures of the cooler versions? Why a toothpaste looking bottle and a hand sanitizer looking bottle? Comments? Agreements?

Agreements?I'd assume that's just the bottles that the manufacturers felt were best for their item. Certain sizes will do better certain ways because of how they have to flex to squeeze the lube out.
Personally I don't care either way for stuff like this, none of the bottles are something I would want to display and the ease of use on all of them seems about the same, so it's not going to make a difference to me between the options. -

Agreements? At the size of the bottles for those smaller ones, the "neat" bottle wouldn't work. The little "handle hold" on the side of the bottle would actually be the entire length of the bottle. There just isn't enough product to warrant making the bigger bottle. However, if you contact Wet Lubricants, they always take suggestions well and could explain it further.
