ID Glide Lubricant

Because this lubricant is water based, stain free, silky and smooth, easy to clean off, silicone toy safe, and good for sensitive skin, it's one of my favorite lubricants on the market. This lubricant really stands out, and it's something that I highly recommend for those of you who are interested, to add to your collection.

Use

I love using ID Glide as a personal lubricant. I think so far it's my go-to guy. It's water based, ultra long lasting, and even the popular doctor recommended brand. The best use for this product is either with personal sex toys, or with anal and vaginal penetration and intercourse. It'll work for anybody, anywhere, any time, and it works great. It's latex safe, so there are no concerns with that. Also it's water based, so you can use it on any toy! It enhances masturbation, is a stain free lubricant, and works for sensitive skin. It's also silicone toy safe!

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

This is a smooth water based lubricant. It glides on easily, as it's title officially states, and it's extremely easy to clean off, and it cleans off fast, even after staying put for a long time during sexual intercourse. It feels silky and smooth, and it's easy to pour. It stays in place, but is easy to spread. It doesn't feel sticky or greasy, it just feels like water. It's a wonderful product.

Taste / Aroma

This lubricant doesn't really have a taste or a smell, which is good, since it isn't flavored at all. The aroma isn't really noticeable, if there is one (as far as I can tell, there's no such thing, except maybe the smell of natural water).

Performance

This stuff is silky and smooth, and lasts a long long time. You do have to wash it off, but it's easily done and it just takes a bit of water from the shower or a rag or towel. It cleans up very easily! I like the water based appeal of it the best, because it's safe to use on silicone toys. I also love that it's stain free, and literally it is (no stains on furniture!), and that it works for sensitive skin and also enhances masturbation. These are great bonuses for such a good lubricant.

Packaging

The product that I have is in a pump bottle, which is a lot less messier than your average pop top or sample baggie. Instructions and ingredients are included on the label of this bottle, and are easy to read and are very concise. The packaging is also discreet, easy to store with my dildos and vibrators, and is suitable for travel as well, although I have never traveled with this particular bottle.

Follow-up commentary
As far as lubricants are concerned, this is still one of the best in my opinion. It's so easy to use because of the pump, and being water based as well, I'm already halfway out of this particular container! This lube is really great. Please don't hesitate to try it out yourself, if you haven't already!

      I would mention that. It got pretty good ratings but it's like the worst thing I ever tried maybe 2/5. So not sure if it's just my personal preference or just plain different. Ingredients looks like the same tho. I read your durex warming review! I like that lube and use it to the day. This is far worse than that in terms of smell and performance. I got a premium silicone lube recently and I can finally understand why people gave 2/5 to the durex warming :) But I like it anyway, it's different. But made me realize what tacky really means and now I got a better picture.

    • I am wondering why the different weights are sold in different containers. The 17.5 oz. container looks the best, but costs more. The 4 oz bottle looks weird, and I don't like it. They should be sold in same-looking containers. Any comments? Agreements?

      I'd noticed that, too, and I think it's a bit odd. I think it'd be much better if they made them all the same as you suggested. I guess they figure they're just giving people a choice in the way the lube is disposed?

      The Gun Oil lube bottles look pretty much the same except for size or if it has a pump. Personally it doesn't bother me what the bottle looks like. Some I am sure are easier to conceal in a pocket or purse for the purpose of travel. Others do to their size like the one I baught being 35 oz. looks like a shampoo bottle and you could probably have out in the open as long as someone didn't take to close a look at it. I am sure they had their reasons for making the bottles the way they did.
