ID moments warming - lubricant discontinued by I-D Lubricants - review by JE011

The ID warming lube is best used to add a slight warming sensation during your sensual activities. When applied to your private area it adds a very subtle warming feeling, which can be felt by both you and your partner. The lube can be used with a variety of toys, as well as during intercourse in just about any bedroom situation. It has the same exact formula as the hypoallergenic water-based lubricant. It is advertised as being "glycerin and paraben free" and "great for those with sensitivities to other types of lubes."

The lubricant seems to be more on the thinner side, but I'm comparing it to non-water based lubes. Since it is not very thick, you will need to reapply it frequently. The top is a pump. It seems to make getting it out of the container a little easier and less messy then most lubes, which is very nice in the dark. The pump also prevents the lube from dripping out everywhere, or even from running down the side of the container.

The lube works like most other lubricants, in that it is very slick feeling. When first applied, it felt like natural lubrication and didn't give the sensation of other non-water based lubes. We did find that it didn't seem to last very long and seemed to dry up rather quickly. We had to reapply it several times during sex. Once we were finished, it left behind a stickiness and became very dry.

Ingredients include: Water, butylene glycol, carboxy-methylcellulose, hydroxyethylcellulose, ammonium acryloyldimethyltaurate/vp, copolymer, PEG-45m, citric acid, sodium benzoate, vanillyl butyl ether

The ID warming lubricant is advertised as unflavored and unscented. Since it is advertised as unflavored, we have not tried to taste it. We have used it several times and have not noticed any aroma from this product, so if it does have an aroma it is very light.

The ID warming lubricant did have a natural feeling, but did not last very long during intercourse and had to be reapplied often. It did work to enhance our sexual experience, but only slightly. Once we were finished, it had to be cleaned up right away, as it left an uncomfortable dry sensation. We used EdenFantasys toy and body wipes to clean it up, and it did come off rather easily. If it wasn't for the fact that it dried up rather quickly and we had to keep reapplying it, we might have enjoyed it a little more.

After using this product, we were not very pleased with it's performance. It did provide a slight warming sensation, but having to stop and reapply the lubrication several times took away from the experience. If it wasn't for the fact that it dries up so fast we would have probably enjoyed it a little more.
