Sexytime is Wet Time
This lube is tasteless slick pleasure, but it dries too fast. It is a lube that's good for toys or a quickie - or both!Published: March 30, 2011
Pros:
Tasteless, Affordable, Effective, Odorless, Clear.
Cons:
Doesn't last long, Contains glycerin, Dries a little sticky.
This is an inexpensive lubricant that does what it should and is easy to find. I found it because I forgot my lube on a trip and had to run to a store to buy some more.
The best thing about this lube is the fact that it really doesn’t have a taste. I hate that plastic-y lube flavor that is a part of most ‘flavorless’ lubes. Wet isn’t like that. The flavor is so mild and isn’t unpleasant at all. If you’re sensitive about lube taste, this is certainly worth keeping around.
Wet is a water-based lubricant, so it’s super safe for toys. You can basically use this lube with any toy or condom. Being water-based also means that it’s an easy clean-up job for you, your toys, and your sheets.
The bottle it came in, for the 3.5 ounce size, was a clear plastic cylinder with a blue dome shaped lid. I keep it in a plastic bag just in case because I don’t store it upright, but it hasn’t leaked out of the bottle yet. I really like the lid for Wet though, I must say, because it's really easy to flip open in the heat of the moment, but I don't worry about it spilling while it's closed.
The consistency of this lube is a little runnier than I like my lube to be. It’s more a liquid then it is a “gel”, so I feel you initially have to use more to get good coverage. You use even more because it dries so quickly. I say you get about 10 minutes of play before you need to reapply. Wet dries a little sticky, but it doesn't get that flaky or grainy feeling like some water-based seem to do.
I wouldn’t recommend it for extended play or anal sex because of the reapplying factor. I would recommend for a quickie or when you only need a little bit of lube to help you out.

Experience
I bought Wet for was strap-on sex with a female partner, but I usually find myself reaching for something else when we need lube. It’s very reasonably priced and works well enough.
Now, I typically use it when I masturbate, and I only need a little bit of lube at the very beginning.

Follow-up commentary
1 month after original review
I got a yeast infection while using this lube, and realized it had glycerin in it. I've started to switch over to lubes without glycerin.
Sensitive buyers beware.
It's still good at lubrication, it just has glycerin in it.

I have been using ID pleasure for years. I tried WET and it seemed to be a bit more watered down to me. Not a bad thing just not my thing.
Anyonee lse have this going for you too? -
I used to hate Wet products, they came off as cheap.
Until I tried their synergy line. I fell in love with both the original, and the tingle lubricant.
The Synergy is water and silicone mixed, which produces a gel. I hate water down lubricants.
As long as you don't use it with silicone toys, its fine. -
I used to feel the same way about wet

Why not the same looking containers for this product?

Why is the 3.5, the 4.8, and the 10 oz bottles of this lubricant sold in cool looking bottles, while the 0.8 amount and the 1.5 sold in smaller, weirder shapes? Why not miniatures of the cooler versions? Why a toothpaste looking bottle and a hand sanitizer looking bottle? Comments? Agreements?

Agreements?I'd assume that's just the bottles that the manufacturers felt were best for their item. Certain sizes will do better certain ways because of how they have to flex to squeeze the lube out.
Personally I don't care either way for stuff like this, none of the bottles are something I would want to display and the ease of use on all of them seems about the same, so it's not going to make a difference to me between the options. -

Agreements? At the size of the bottles for those smaller ones, the "neat" bottle wouldn't work. The little "handle hold" on the side of the bottle would actually be the entire length of the bottle. There just isn't enough product to warrant making the bigger bottle. However, if you contact Wet Lubricants, they always take suggestions well and could explain it further.
