Tasty and Effective: Who'd Have Thought?

This is the flavored lube of your dreams. It tastes great and works great too; how often do you find that? It's smooth, and it lasts forever, and you don't have to scrub it off with soap and water after you're done.

Use

This is a flavored, water-based lubricant great for foreplay and sex. It would be great for people who really don't like the taste of oral sex or just want something to spice things up. I got it so I could give my boyfriend a blowjob after I put a cock ring on him without gagging at the strange taste of normal lubes. No matter how careful I was, some always ended up all over him by the time the ring was on. Not only is it flavored, it's also a great, slick lube for sex. I don't think it's thick enough to be great for anal, but it could definitely add a nice taste to rimming.

Because this is a water-based lube, it's safe for use with all toys! It does have glycerin and parabens though, so if you have sensitivities to those you may need to steer clear. It is sugar-free, so no yeast infection worries!

Toko Aroma is fairly thin and silky but not watery at all. A little bit goes a long way, and it stays where you put it. Just pour a little onto your hand and rub it where you want it. I was expecting it to be a little sticky like flavored lubes often are, but it was more silky than anything. I didn't feel the need to go wash it off immediately after like I do with a lot of lubes. For being water-based, it also survives oral sex pretty well.

Taste / Aroma

This stuff tastes amazing for a lube. The chemical-ish taste is very minimal, and it doesn't have an obvious sugar-free taste either. It tasted like strawberries with a slight hint of champagne. It wasn't an overly sweet, artificial strawberry flavor either which I must admit that I was a little worried about. It also has a nice light strawberry scent. The taste doesn't fade quickly either - even after a long blowjob and sex.

Performance

This product lasts. Its taste does too. Even through a long blowjob and sex, he still tasted faintly of strawberry, and the silky smooth feel of it was still there too, but it didn't need to be washed off. It felt more like a massage oil than a sticky lube. It gave a slick, slightly warm feeling during sex all the way through. There was no need to reapply. I have a good feeling that this bottle will last a good while even with frequent use, and I plan to use it often. This is probably the best water-based lubricant I have ever tried, and it is definitely the best flavored one.

Packaging

The bottle is very pretty with Japanese art on the label. For a bottle of lubricant, it is actually fairly discreet. It looks like it could just be nice massage oil unless you look closely. It says its a lubricant, but it is in small lettering that is mostly overwhelmed by the nice art and label. It is a flip-top though, so you have to be careful to close it. If it's open and tips over, it will spill. If you want to travel with it, you will have to put it in a plastic bag first. It does pour nicely from the bottle though. The opening isn't so big that too much comes out or too small to get enough out. You can also flip it open with one hand for quick application.

I love this stuff. I've used it many times already and there's barely a dent in the level of the bottle. This stuff is going to last me forever! And the bottle isn't as leak-prone as I thought. It ended up under the bed for a couple days and none really spilled out. It tastes good, it works wonderfully, a little goes a very long way, and it isn't very expensive. In a word; PERFECT.

Thanks for the review. I'm not looking for a flavored lube, but the fact that it doesn't taste like aspartame/sucrolose would make me get this one if I was.

You know, I thought the top would make it spill really easy, but the bottle got knocked off my dresser and laid under the bed for a night and barely any spilled out even though the top got knocked open a little. I was impressed!

      You are correct, that Sucralose is a zero calorie (for humans) sweetener. It is based on sugar, however, so it is possible that some yeast could eat it, although I have not heard of such at this time.
