I have had some interesting experiences with arousal lubes lately. I have come across some good ones, some bad ones, and some horrid ones. Well, finally I can say that I came across one that both my husband and I love. I even love the little tube it comes in. Ever play Final Fantasy 6 (number 3 for the SNES)? Probably not, but I’ll tell you anyway. The little pink lady on the tube looks just like Terra in Esper form. I am a little bit of a gamer nerd, and this makes me smile every time I see the little tube sitting on my nightstand. The tube design is different than what is pictured, just in case you are wondering where that little pink lady I’m talking about got off to. The ingredients also don’t match the ones on my tube, but I’ll get to that in a minute.

I originally purchased this for my husband. Mint Chocolate Chip is his favorite flavor of ice cream. I want to try the Orange Dreamsicle, but sacrificed and got the one he wanted. I was also hoping this would encourage him to give me oral more often, so I guess it was actually quite selfish after all ;) I found the smell and taste to be great. It is eerily similar to the ice cream flavor, which was a great surprise to me as I was expecting something more akin to toothpaste. Just smelling this makes my mouth water. It is much more appealing to me than actually putting ice cream on my husband’s dick (although I have yet to try that). I can’t stress enough how great the taste of this is. It does tend to create a minty feel in my mouth and a slight numbing sensation to my tongue and lips. I don’t mind the feeling in my mouth as it is fairly subtle and the taste is way better than what I was expecting. While this is sweet, I didn’t notice much of an after taste, but I use a very small amount of this. I imagine the artificial sweetener taste would be worse depending on how much you slather on.

As far as using this as an arousal lotion, I was pleased with those results too. This didn’t do anything for my nipples; however I have come to the conclusion that my nipples are not sensitive at all, as I’ve yet to find anything that works on them. This feels very nice on the clit, and it doesn’t take much. I use about a pea sized drop and massage it in. It only takes a couple seconds to start working and the first sensation I feel is a warming. Be careful not to get too much, or it can get pretty intense. After it gets warm, I start to notice a heightened sensation to my clit. It isn’t really a tingling, just more awareness. Rubbing doesn’t do anything really, and blowing made a little difference but not as much as I was expecting. This lasts throughout sex for me and feels wonderful during oral sex. The wetness and added bits of breath really make this product shine. I love having it used on me and using it on my husband. He reports that it feels really good with a warming and added sensitivity, but not as much as I notice.

Ready for the ingredient list? I mentioned earlier that the ingredients are different than listed in the properties. The biggest difference is that this is NOT Paraben free, in fact it has 4 Parabens in it. Another difference worth noting is that the tube I received contains 1.5 fluid ounces not 1 ounce.

Purified Water, Mineral Oil, Cetyl Alcohol, Glyceryl Stearate, Sodium Laurel Sulfate, Isopropyl Myristate, Menthol, Aloe Vera Gel, Carbomer, Triethanolamine, N&A Flavors, Saccharin, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Butylparaben, Ethylparaben, Propylparaben.

Over all I was very pleased with this stimulating lotion. I call it lotion, because it looks and feels like hand lotion. It absorbs into the skin well, leaving no residue behind. I was expecting a little bit of greasiness or tackiness, but was very pleasantly surprised. There is nothing to wash off, which I really appreciate. I think this is a great product for a good price. I hope you love it too!

Just a little tip that I use to get my husband in the mood and clue him in to what lies ahead :) I like to rub a little bit of this into my lips which makes them smell and taste great. I get a noticeable tingling sensation and a touch of warmth on my lips (very different than what I experience on my clit). He can be completely uninterested in sex, but after one kiss with this on my lips he becomes interested very quickly! It makes a sexy and subtle way to let him know what I have in store for him. This is really great for when we are in public and I wouldn't want to shout out that I'm horny. While a little goes a long way with this, I am definitely buying more when this does finally run out.
