Universal lube review

I got my bottle of Universal Lube as a free gift from Eden some time ago. I don't use lube on a regular basis with sex, so I've only compared it to a handful- some water based lube, some flavored lube and "Flower Body Balm" (see review). It’s one of the more expensive lube products they sell, but I have realized that this is my favorite bottle that I tend to reach for again and again. I’ll buy it when it runs out.

I use lube with anal toys, with anal sex and one very lovely day for fisting. My husband will sometimes grab it for use with toys in general. I've found that a little bit goes a long way. After sex, one morning when there was nothing else available- I grabbed the bottle and two small dollops was enough for a pretty extended backrub on a man's back. I just needed a little bit of lube there to ease the friction. That amused us both, but it worked great!

Having experimented with several different lubes, I'm glad they spent some time on the design of the bottle. It's easy to hold in one hand, has a flip top, has never once clogged, and is not going to leak. In other words- it works great for travel (to a sexual rendezvous or party) as well as the impromptu need for lube that wasn't anticipated earlier when in the bedroom.

I've probably used the lube the most with the Jolly Jack butt plug. I love the combination! Just a little bit on the top and around each bulge is really all that's needed. The product description says "safe for all materials." I've also read that silicone lube should not be used with silicone toys. However, the Jolly Jack is silicone and I've never had any trouble. I don't plan to stop. It is not particularly easy to wash off though and definitely requires soap. It tends to leave a tacky feel on toys that requires extra cleaning. I don't know how it reacts to non-silicone toys.

Fisting is an activity that can be done with a very wet woman and a lot of patience, but is generally only successful with lube. Fisting is like a little piece of heaven given to a woman. In this instance, Universal Lube helped work magic in no time at all, and has earned a place in my heart for that alone.

Unlike water based lubes which dry out, silicone lubes don't dry out easily. I can't recall one instance where I actually reapplied lube because it was insufficient or had dried out. Silicone lubes are also safe with condoms. The product itself is clear so it doesn't leave any stains. I have not tried tasting this product as it's not really meant to be edible (although I know that doesn't stop everyone.) The Universal lube has a soft, wet consistency that is a beautiful addition to sexual play.

This has been a wonderful product that I'm very happy with.
