Very Nice, But Worth the Price?

The Men's Pleasure Cream is more like 'Women's Expensive Body Lotion.' With this price I would expect some tingly menthol and lasting lubricating effects. However delightfully tasting and smelling, this seems to me much more appealing to women in aroma, and is not what I would classify as an extraordinarily effective lubricant.

Use

Intended as a masturbation aid for men, this luxurious oil-based cream is thicker than honey, but thinner than a balm. It's best for massage, setting a gentle mood, cleaning the air with the fresh mint scent, and lending all natural ingredients to the stage.

Add this to a phallic member before placing your mouth around it to increase the deliciousness of this act. The pleasant mint taste will remind you of a gentle all natural mint tea and have you hungry for more!
Use caution when applying to the rump for tongue to bum hole action. It can certainly increase the happiness of your taste buds when back there, but the oil may have an adverse effect on those sensitive, super-absorbent tissues. Do a test run before going wild with this one.

The organic, non-GMO canola oil base means it's not latex friendly, so don't use this when you're planning on using a latex condom afterwards, as it could disintegrate the condom and lead to STIs and pregnancy. Wash it off with soap and warm water before going inside a lady. Oil is not good for her insides!

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

Perfectly creamy, never thick; this creme is pleasantly gentle. Scoop a bit out with your finger(s) and spread the sensuous white lotion till clear. It will leave a slight sheen to the skin and absorb quickly. It feels silky to the touch and on the skin. As a lubricant, this won't do, as it soaks into the epidermis like a moisturizer.

An attempt to pour the potion out at best will provide you with minty oil stains from the drops that will separate from the thicker cream and fall onto your sheets. Oops! Now you've got a stain to work out. Elbow grease and a strong soap might do the trick, but you may end up with a permanent reminder of this cream.
The oil will only separate a small bit at a time, but keep the jar upright to avoid any possible spillage. The actual cream will not budge a bit; gravity has no effect here, save for the occasional drop o' oil.

Taste / Aroma

The flavor is a natural, delicate mint. It takes a moment to develop on the tongue and is short-lived but still a tad sweet and pleasant. I wouldn't dub it 'Excite-Mint' but rather 'Soft, Sweet Mint Leaf.'

It smells so nice and takes me back to some great professional massages. The smell is reminiscent of organic hand-made soap or shampoo and expensive lotions. It really has a heady, quality aroma to it. While this is attributed to the pure organic essential oil of peppermint, and I expect it is a high-quality extract, it doesn't smell or taste like peppermint. Actual 'peppermint' is the flavor of the red and white striped holiday candies and candy canes, after-dinner mints. This flavor is much more organic in nature, and more similar to what I would deem 'spearmint.'

Performance

For lubrication, you'll need to apply alot and reapply often, adding spit in copious amounts to achieve sufficient lubrication. For this reason, I prefer this cream as a moisturizer or body lotion.

In twenty minutes you will still be able to detect a slight drag on the skin where the cream has been applied, as well as a light scent. The flavor will have dissipated by this time.

To wash away the Pleasure Cream before vaginal sex and/or latex condom usage, you'll find a mild soap and warm water sufficient. If you've no need to wash it away, it will simply absorb into the skin and leave you well moisturized.

Packaging

The Men's Pleasure Cream is packaged in a thick glass jar with a plastic twist-off lid. The labeling is masculine in color scheme though the design is fluid, floral, reminiscent of Arabic architecture, and quite feminine. The brand name 'Sensuous Beauty' also appears to the softer side.

If the word 'Pleasure' were not on the label, one would certainly dismiss this as a fancy cold cream. As it is, I personally would have no qualms leaving this out in a bathroom or at the bedside. Only the nosiest of the nosy would find what they were looking for, and they'd have to get close enough to read the small label on this 4 oz jar to discover it.

The ingredients are listed in order of abundance as:
Distilled water, organic non-GMO canola oil, beeswax, shea butter, vitamin E, grapefruit seed extract & pure organic essential oil of peppermint.

With ingredients this pure and natural, one would expect a high quality product with a higher price tag. You certainly get that here, though after experiencing the product first-hand I did not find it worth more than about half the price it is listed for. The 3 oz/90 ml size is certainly not enough for the money. Also, if one is looking for a lube with natural ingredients and doesn't mind oil (which creates a bacteria breeding-ground in the vagina and is latex-condom enemy number 1), one can certainly purchase coconut oil and achieve the same effect. And the price would be a fraction!

Special Features

A review claimed that this cream had the effects of menthol, which created an exciting cooling sensation, bringing intense orgasm. This sold me on the product. In use, however, I found no such feature. The peppermint oil certainly smells and tastes pleasant, but no cooling effect is present other than perhaps that of having damp skin.

As the Pleasure Cream is truly natural, it is also synthetic and paraben free. Breathe easy! This is good for your skin, even if it's recommended for (mostly) external use only.

Sensuous Beauty, as an environmentally responsible company, also chooses to test on people only. This is really important for reasons that I believe are self-explanatory.

It is also made right here in the USA, in Sebastopol, California. A plus for those looking to cut down on carbon footprints, and for Californians wanting to support local businesses!

Personal comments

I bought this as a masturbation aid for my boy, but with its lack of condom AND vagina-compatibility, it's converting to a body lotion. I'll use it after the shower to soothe razor-ravaged legs or have him rub it into my back for a light massage with a sense-awakening effect. The mint aroma really perks you up. The Excite-Mint cream could be used during flights for under-the-nose treament (airplanes are smelly, awful places, if you ask me) to soothe and invigorate the senses and cut the smell of your neighbor's lunch, cologne, screaming child, etc.

I still use this for hand cream to heal dry skin and also soothe me with the scent. On rare occasion it comes out for my boy's spotlight time, as there's no way his member's going inside me after being covered with this oil based cream.

  • Oil-based lubes... Do not enter?
    • I've recently seen some pretty cool looking all-natural lubes on here
      this men's pleasure creme by Sensuous Beauty , for instance. i've read warnings about oil and the vagina not mixing, something about oil harboring bacteria and potentially causing such unpleasantries as yeast infections, bacterial vaginosis and UTI's.

      can someone elaborate on this?

      anyone had experience with oil based lubes actually contributing to infections?

      all input is surely appreciated.

    • We use 'oil-based' lubes 98% of the time - the other 98% are silicone. For us Oil-based products are made with some combination of Cocoa butter, Shea butter, Almond oil & Vitamin E oil. No petroleum products. If you're interested check them out at Yes products link.

      When were done having sex - our skin feels like we have just moisturized all over. We've never had yeast or UTI problems.

      Everyone else here at EF will tell you to use water-based. Nothing wrong with that - just that my wife hates it - and you know the drill. What the wife wants, the wife gets.;)

      i had found Yes too when searching for organic lubes and was just about to purchase when i decided to search reviews on them, and i dont remember specifics (sorry) but i did read that some ingredient in the lube is banned in the US as well as one of the main ingredients not being organic. however, i cant find a list of ingredients on their site...

      however, they look pretty cool. they're based in england, however, and i opt for the more local 'firefly' lube by applied organics, which i'm trying to get EF to stock.. found at

      i unfortunately have issues with yeast and UTI complications so i have to be very careful about what goes up there... no parabens, no glycerin... etc. never tried oils though and just wanted to see what the fuss was about.
