The Bordello Corset and G-string set is one of those sets that looks great, but doesn't really work when you wear it.

The corset is made of thin material printed with a faux lace design. There is no overlay fabric. It is all one fabric. The red used is a nice deep red, and I think visually appealing. There are eight plastic bones that are sewn in their own channels. They do not go straight up and down, but angle toward your belly button, to give you the illusion of a thinner waist. The back of the corset is closed with black hook and eye closures, 15 in all. There is no liner or padding located under the closures, so if you are sensitive to feeling them against your skin, you may not care for this set. I didn't even feel them.

The fabric is very stretchy, with no stiffness at all. Although you can stretch the corset quite far, it really isn't flattering to do so. It distorts the pattern of the print.

The corset measures 14 1/2" from the top edge to the bottom edge in the middle of the center front panel. Laying out flat, the corset is around 36" wide. I ordered the 2x because I like to have room for my D-cup breasts and I don't enjoy tight corsets. I could have easily sized down. There are no cups and virtually no support for your breasts in this one. Mine isn't tight, but even if it was it wouldn't offer support in a way I'd appreciate. If you wore one of these corsets tight enough to hold your breasts tightly, it would be so stretched that the distorted fabric would look quite unattractive. In fact, I'd bet that even the smallest size wouldn't hold up breasts that needed support. So, this isn't a set for those who look for breast support.

Outside of Corset:

There is no lining inside the corset; the entire piece is one layer of fabric, and it's a very thin fabric.

Inside of Corset:

At the top of the corset, off to one side, is a black bow. This can be easily removed if you don't care for it. All along the top of the corset, there is a matte black decorative ruffle in a coordinating fabric. It provides a bit of contrast from the shiny surface of the corset.

Detail and Edging:

The G-String that comes with this set is the same material as the corset. There is a small ruffle accent along the top edge of the front of the panty. There are two straps coming from each top front corner that meet in the back of the panty. From there, a single strap runs down the back to meeting bottom of the front panel. The panty is comfortable and very flattering. You can choose to keep the straps together or have them a bit wider for a slightly different look.

The triangle created by the panty is 6 1/2" tall and 7 1/2" wide. The panty was loose on me, but I liked the look and design. It has a good amount of stretch to it, and would fit a range of users.

Back of Panty:

The tag in the panty lists the fabric as 92% polyester and 8% spandex. I assume this is true of the corset fabric as well, since they appear identical, although the corset has no tag. Care is fairly easy. You are advised to machine wash in warm water and tumble dry on low. I hand wash all my lingerie, so I don't know how it would handle the washing machine. I prefer to not have corsets getting bent up in the machine, and if I'm washing corsets I might as well wash panties with them.
Experience
The fit and look of this one really worked for me. What didn't work was the material they chose to use for the corset. Something a bit more sturdy, or with less stretch would have improved the set greatly. The fabric used is very thin, and when stretched even a bit it looks awful. That being said, every part of this set is soft and comfortable to wear. I don't even notice having it on, and there are no pinch points or scratchy straps.

The corset fit me correctly, and each move and stretch caused the fabric to appear more transparent. The fabric seems to only be printed on the surface. If you've ever had a knit shirt with a print, you can imagine what I mean. The print can't maintain its integrity when the material is stretched at all.

So, if you are standing still and the outfit fits correctly, it looks amazing. If you bend over, the black and red print gets noticeably lighter where the fabric is stressed. If you have a bit of a tummy, or your breast are very, very large, be aware that the fabric will be lighter where it is stressed.
Follow-up commentary
Although this has held up to multiple washings, there is a bit of discoloration, lightening, from the stretch in the fabric. Structurally, this has held up fine.
