Satin gartered chemise set - gartered chemise and panty set discontinued by DreamGirl - review by ToyTimeTim

After a few “one size fit most” lingerie fails we decided to try one that came in different sizes. My wife is on the shorter side with a larger chest and some leftover umm... baby fat, so finding something that fits and she still feels sexy in has proven to be hard. This is the best outfit we have found so far.

This gorgeous piece of lingerie by Dreamgirl is a three-piece stretchy satin finished [https://www.edenfantasys.com/info/sexuality-articles/satin] and sheer Lycra [https://www.edenfantasys.com/info/sexuality-articles/lycra] chemise set with garters. The set includes a chemise top, a matching Lycra thong, thigh high stockings and attached garters. The Dreamgirl web site calls this set a Babydoll and another reviewer called it a Teddy, I call it sexy lingerie for the wife. Whatever you call it this set makes for one very sexy outfit that can be worn for your lover or under an outfit when going out to dinner. The craftsmanship was very fair and I found only two threads that were not trimmed flush. (OK so I nit-pick but that’s just my sewing background talking)

The chemise has a stretch satin front panel with a built in underwire bra. The back straps for the bra has two rows of standard hook and loop found on most bras, this allows for some adjustment in size. Also the shoulder straps have slide adjustments, this helps to make the fit just right and provide support for the “girls“. The cups are padded and will cover the nipples. There are pink highlights such as the garter belts and ribbon bows. There are bows at the center and top of the bra as well as on top of the garters in the front. Very nice to note that all the small bows come with a tissue cover that keeps the bows in good shape and clean until received, they are easy to remove, just gently tear them off. There is also a large ribbon bow on the back at the bottom of the keyhole shaped opening. The back is sheer Lycra and also stretches very nicely. The bottom of the chemise is adorned with ruffles made of the same Lycra, this sits even with her crotch when standing and was a big tease for me.

The thong has a Lycra front and back panel and a cotton liner for your precious lady parts. The rest is made of elastic; this has a loop type trim on the outside edge. On the back there is a tag with care instructions and material info.

The stockings are sheer black nylon and are somewhat reinforced at the toe’s. It does not look like an extra layer of material like I have seen on pantyhose but rather a different weave. The top has a wide (1 1/4” unstretched) elastic band, this allows them to be worn with or without the garters. The stockings were a bit too long for the wife and stopped 1” from her ass. The stockings feel better than most pantyhose she buys, maybe a mid-grade quality. They do not feel as nice as the satin parts of this set but still feel good against my skin.

The attached (to the chemise) garters are adjustable from 3” to 4 1/2 “(unstretched) and will stretch to 6”.

I bought the large size for the wife according to the size chart. The sizing was right on except for the cup sizing. The wife is a C/D cup and the under wire sat about an inch off her body. If she adjusted the wire to fit right, her chest either flattens out or bulges out the top and her nipples show. She told me it would better fit a B. She still felt there was good support but it just looked a little off, the center of the cups was off about a half an inch from each other also.

This set came folded nicely in a plastic bag wrapped in pink tissue paper, the stockings are on a cardboard sheet, in a plastic pouch and attached to the Chemise. I like the minimal packaging, you can recycle it all.

The material will follow the curves of the body so it does not hide so much as shows all your shape. If you are self conscious you might look somewhere else. I love my wife’s body no matter what so this was a big win for me. The wife felt real sexy and loved the feel of the satin.

For cleaning the tag says to wash in slightly lukewarm water and hang up to air dry. Heat will be the biggest enemy for the material, so be advised.

This is the first set the wife has worn that had garters and stockings, overall she really enjoyed getting all dressed up for me. I loved the look and feel of this set. The choice of sizes makes for a BIG plus and with proper care should last for a good long time.

I removed the under wire and was able to make the bra fit better, I think for the price this should not be something I have to do. If it wasn't for that I would give it five stars.

I am happy to say this set is still holding up great. The wife has put it to good use for me and I just love the way she looks with it on. The Garters and hose are a big hit for me.

If only the top fit her chest better.
