I bought this product on a whim, looking for something a little more flirty than my other lingerie. I'm not usually the type to gravitate towards pink ribbons and polka dots. I had my reservations because of this product's features, but I was intrigued by the vintage-esque style, and I had the extra cash set aside. I was pleasantly surprised with this bustier. I'm glad I have it in my closet!

I was initially concerned with how this would fit. I have a larger waist, so I ordered a large, and it fit really well. It was tight enough to give that slimming corset effect, but not so tight that I have trouble breathing. This bustier is very flattering, while still being comfortable. It's made from a polyester and spandex blend and has removable garters. I normally have issues with removable garters staying put, but I was impressed with how well these stayed on.

The halter top is tied with a pink ribbon - something that also made me hesitate. In my experience, a ribbon tie wouldn't stay very well or provide much support, but that is not the case here. The ribbon stays tied until you are ready for it to come undone, and the cups of the bustier stay in place and provide decent support.

The boning in this bustier is regular plastic, which I like because it leaves room for flexibility. I have not had any issues bending or moving in this product. As I said before, it is very comfortable, and I have no issues wearing it for extended periods of time. There are not many bustiers or corsets that I would be willing to wear during sex because they restrict my ability to move or breathe, or because they are uncomfortable for my boyfriend to rub up against. Sometimes the materials irritate his skin. These things can definitely kill the mood, but luckily, we do not have these issues with this product.

As far as maintenance is concerned, I prefer to hand wash this bustier because I do not want to risk ruining it in the washing machine. I use a gentle, bleach-free detergent and cold water to wash and then hang to dry. I recommend hanging it over a bathtub or something that will catch the water because it will drip. I would not wash it on the same day you intend to wear it because it does take some time to dry. It might seem like a hassle, but I think that it is worth it to keep the bustier nice.

My one and only complaint about this product is that it is hard to put on by yourself. I have to put it on backwards and then turn it around before tying the halter, or have my boyfriend fasten it for me. One other thing I want to point out is that this piece does not come with the matching panties. The picture is a little misleading. Other than that, I highly recommend this product.
