Rhinestone romance gift set - sexy panties by Leg Avenue - review by Breas

I’m totally a sucker for shiny things. When I seen this set, I was a bit hesitant to get the set because of the price, but I eventually decided to give in to temptation.

When the Rhinestone Romance Gift Set by Leg Avenue arrived, I was surprised at how beautiful the packaging was! It reminded me of the packaging that came with the cuffs I reviewed made by Booty Parlor; feminine, classy, and excellent for gift giving. The set arrived in long rectangular box. Around the box was a cardboard piece. The front of the cardboard piece states the company name, product name, and the box contents. The front also has a photo of a model wearing the items in the set. On the back of the cardboard piece it states the material composition, care instructions, size, and company contact information. This cardboard piece can easily be slid off of the box and recycled.

The box itself is lovely. The top of the box is black with a diamond pattern on it. The top has the company name in light pink cursive lettering, with a swirled design along the top and bottom. There is no other text on the box, making it quite discreet without the cardboard piece surrounding it. The front of the box ties into a bow with two light pink strands of ribbon.

When you first open the box, the products are beneath white tissue paper, sealed with a pink heart sticker. As I said before, this would make an excellent gift! It’s gorgeous on the outside, and even the inner packaging is pretty! After removing the tissue paper, the products are sitting in their own sections within the box.



The first thing I noticed when I seen the items is that the stock photo makes the rhinestones look like a deep purple… but in reality, they are a bright red. The second thing was the length of the chain in the stock photo. It’s not that long in real life. The third thing; the inside of the cuff is not a white colour like it looks like in the stock photo. It’s black.

We’ll start with the cuffs. The cuffs are 9 ¼ inches around and 4 inches wide (including the ruffle). There is black ruffle along the top and bottom of the cuffs. The ruffle trim is approximately ½ inch. The cuffs have 2 rows of 2 metal snap closures. There is a 1 inch gap between the rows. When I wore the cuffs, I liked the tightest fit because the first row of snaps left the cuffs too loose on my wrists. My wrist circumference is 6 inches.

The snaps on the cuffs secure tightly and do not come undone easily. The cuffs were fairly comfortable when I had worn them, but the lace trim is a bit stiff which can get irritating after awhile. The lace didn’t bother me enough to make me want to take the cuffs off, but it was noticeable.



In the centre of each cuff, there is a black piece with an attached D-ring. There is a very, very thin chain that runs from one D-ring to the other. The chain is 28 inches long. This chain will not hold up during anything more than extremely light restraint. Actually, they’re really just for looks in my opinion because the chain links can be bent easily with my fingers. If you’re looking for cuffs that you can tug and play rough with, these will not work for you. If you wanted to, you could remove the chain completely and wear these cuffs as accessories when you go out.

The “pasties” in the kit are really cute, but for some reason they are not sticky… I assumed that they were self-adhesive since the backs of the pasties have a thin fabric piece on them. I tried peeling the piece off (like you would with a sticker), but underneath was just plastic without any stickyness. So if you get this kit, you’ll need double sided tape, pasties glue, or another similar product so that the pasties will stick to your skin. I held the pasties up to my chest and they seem like they would fit well, but without any pasties glue, I can’t wear them. This was rather disappointing, especially considering the high price of the product. I feel the kit should have included an adhesive. The “pasties” are 3 ¼ inches wide, and 2 ¾ inches long.

The g-string included in the kit is a one-size-fits-most. The g-string is 90% nylon and 10% spandex. There is a lot of stretch to the material. The g-string ties on the side, allowing the wearer to adjust the tie to fit. At the end of each tie, there is a plastic, sequined heart that is approximately 1 inch x 1 ¼ inches in size. The ties are elastic band. The widest part of the material that covers your front area is 5 inches wide. There is no lining in the panty.



At first, I found the g-string to be a bit complicated as to how it went on. After I finally figured it out, I was able to get it to fit my XL body because of the ties on the side allowing me to make the waistband wider. I found the material of the g-string to be comfortable against my skin. One thing I found odd was that on the cardboard piece surrounding the box (the outer packaging), the back says that the care instructions are “do not wash”. I’m not sure if that means that they are one-time wear panties… but I will most likely hand wash the g-string and line dry.

I’m pretty disappointed overall. It seems as though the company spent more time on the beautiful packaging instead of what was inside of the package. The chain on the cuffs is flimsy and the pasties aren’t even sticky. I feel that for the price, they could have included adhesive for the pasties because not everyone keeps pasties glue on hand. I’ve given the kit a 2 out of 5; one star for the packaging and another star because the items are cute (they just aren’t good quality).
