Great Shirt!
It may have been a free gift, but it's well worth $15! 100% cotton means it's super comfy, and makes a great sleeping shirt if you don't want to wear it out. Preshrunk, so it runs a bit small, and if you have pets, you're going to end up with little white hairs all over the shirt.Published: September 5, 2011
Pros:
Soft material, Very comfortable, Neat design, 100% cotton
Cons:
Runs a size smaller than it says, Attracts a lot of dog hair
This shirt is the second most comfortable shirt I own. I just got it last week as a free gift when I ordered the Fluffy Flogger and some rope. While I think I enjoy the other two items in the box more, the shirt is definitely worth it. Especially for free! Honestly though it's well worth $15 if you don't get it as the free gift.
It's made with 100% cotton, so it's very soft, and comfortable. Keep in mind though that it's preshrunk, so the sizes run a little small. If you're a bigger person like myself, it may be a tad tight. If you like loose fitting clothes, you should probably go for a bigger size than you normally wear.
I love how the shirt looks. It's black, and in small white lettering has the words "I like things that go" Then in big, colored boxes it has the letters that spell out VROOM. Under that is the EdenFantasys logo. There's nothing on the back, but that doesn't bother me.
I have yet to wear it in public, but I plan on doing it pretty soon. I suggest that if you do decide to wear it out of the house, you should probably be prepared for some strange stares, and be ready to answer some questions about EdenFantasys.
I think the only complaint I have about the shirt other than the size issue would be the fact that it only comes in the color black, and black shows dog hair very easily. I live in a house with two dogs, and two cats, so there are little white hairs floating everywhere. So if you decided to order it, and you have pets, be sure to keep a lint roller in the house!
I'd say this shirt is worth buying, and would make a great gift for a friend!

I still kinda like this shirt. I don't wear it much, cause it's a little small, but I have a few extra to give to friends. It still washes well for me, and I haven't had any problems with it.

#AskEden - EF Shirt Sizes
-
I normally wear a medium or a large. I ordered this shirt in XL so that I could wear it lounging and for sleep. Its so small though. It came about a medium or a small. Im afraid to wash it and see it shrink
-
I have three of these - one large, and two XL. The large was a bit snug, but the XL are fine, and have held up to repeated washings well.
-
There were actually a couple different types of EF shirts. The XL and larger shirts were sized a little smaller than expected, but the L and smaller shirts were right on with their sizes.
There were quite a few forum posts on this.

Material?

Why does it seem like I received one shirt made out of a thinner and softer material than the other shirts I received? Has anyone else experienced this?

Quote: Why does it seem like I received one shirt made out of a thinner and softer material than the other shirts I received? Has anyone else experienced this?I have three of these now (all in the same size). Each one is a different material! The first was very thin, stretchy, and really a great shirt since it is sized so small. The second was a very thick material with no stretch to it at all! I cannot even get that one on, even though it should fit exactly like the first one I received. The third shirt is wearable, but again is thicker material than the first, at least this one has a bit more stretch to it than the second one!
I would wager a guess that they are ordering these made up using the "most cost effective" material available, which would account for the varied material (which ever one is cheaper to make that day).
I know that I was happy with the first one, so I ordered more to "modify" some of them as I had seen in a video here. As it stands now...I have one to hide in the closet, one to tuck away for "emergency t-shirt needs", and one I can actually wear and enjoy.
So long as they are offering these free with purchase, I may get a few more (they'll make good rags if nothing else), but I wouldn't spend the $15 asking price on them with the materials being so varied from order to order! -
Good to know, and I hope the one I'll get in my next order will be a soft material.

Thank you for viewing EdenFantasys t-shirt – gags review page!

Nice review. I hate the dog hair problem.
The dog hair problems runs with all black t-shirts... unfortunately.
As for going in public, I have to say that you are brave, if I were to take this t-shirt, it would be for home wear on the weekend.
I haven't decided 100% if I'll use it in public or not, but it's probably gonna happen. For the laughs, if nothing else.
Good review!!
I'm just curious if you've washed it yet-- I assume it's machine wash, but did it shrink any more? And also, did it the black bleed?
Alsooo, just one more question: is the lettering embossed on or more screen-printed onto the shirt? Like is it part of the fabric or raised feeling??
Thanks!
The writing is more raised feeling on the one I got. A lot of people have been saying that the sizes are made of different materials, so I'm only speaking for the 3x size. It doesn't feel like it's shrunk anymore, but I could be wrong. The black didn't bleed that I've noticed yet.
I'd just wash it inside out, so the printing doesn't rub off.
I like things that go vroom
Very nice review, thank you!
Thanks. Glad you liked it.
