When I tried this on for the first time, I could see it might pose a catch-22: It could turn housework into a fun sexy game! But very little actual housework would get done! What to do?

Once again, I am impressed with the comfort and quality of Coquette's costume line. Since the bodice of this dress stretches, it's easy to fit. The quality seems high enough that this could be worn many times.
This dress is made from 100% polyester. The bodice is a stretchy material that is fairly thick and opaque, and the double-layered skirt and apron are shiny satin. When I took it out of the bag, the skirt and apron were heavily creased, but they ironed out easily (they still look creased in my pictures, but I can tell that another pass with a low-heat iron will fix them right up).

What really makes this dress a winner is the amount of detail. The high collar has lace all the way around with a black ribbon running through it and a tiny black bow. It fastens with a single button in the back. The cups are slightly padded, which worried me at first since I don't like padding, but it's more the level of "padding" you get with a "t-shirt" or "lightly lined" bra, and not those thick pads that seem like they came out of the shoulders of a 1980's power suit. The top of each cup is trimmed with a satin ruffle and tiny net ruffle on top, with a white satin bow in between to draw the eye to the sweetheart cutout. The cups and the lace-up front are white with black lace on top and the white ribbon can be used to cinch everything in for women with smaller waists. The two layers of the skirt and the apron, which is tacked on to the front with a few stitches, are trimmed in more white lace. Also included is a headband with a pleated white satin maid hat with a black bow on it.
Obviously, fishnets would go well with this outfit!

I ordered the S/M, which was the perfect size for me in the other Coquette costume I own. The one issue I had with fit here was that the shoulders were a bit snug, but I am very tall and have broad shoulders so this probably won't be an issue for most people.
Unstretched, the shoulder of the S/M size measure 15" from one cap sleeve to the other. The bodice is about 18 1/2" from the neck to the waist, and the skirt is 12" long.

The overall quality of the sewing seems good, but there were a few tiny flaws, like the ends of the lace not quite matching up on the seam, and a tiny loose end on the trim around one arm hole. These are only noticeable if you're looking for flaws, which probably is not going to be your partner's reaction to this dress.

One thing I noticed when trying on this dress and putting it on again so my friend could get a picture is that there is really no way to take this off seductively. It's fitted enough, and pulls on over the head, so I had to kind of wriggle it up over my torso to get it back off. Luckily, the skirt is super short, so you could always just keep it on while you're being distracted from your housekeeping duties!
