Monique corset and thong - corset discontinued by DreamGirl - review by SubmissiveFeminist

I was so excited to get the Monique corset because it's just absolutely drop-dead gorgeous. My heart broke when I realized I ordered the wrong size. However, in my grief and sadness, my close friend found quite a surprise. When I opened my package, she admired the corset greatly. I decided to give it to her as a gift when it didn't fit me.

The Monique was simply too gorgeous to return! My friend immediately squealed and commented on how lovely this corset was, how could I deprive her of it?



The corset is made of 100% polyester and has no stretch to it, which is why it did not fit me properly. There is a black lining on the inside, a layer of pale-pink on the outside, covered in black lace. The lining is smooth and comfy, it's not itchy at all! The boning is covered in solid black panels and the top and bottom have black lace ruffles. I find them adorable and I usually hate ruffles. Included are also stretchy removable garters that have plastic connections.

The corset ties with black satin ribbon in the back and hooks in the front. You can adjust it and put it on and off just using the hooks since this isn't a "real" corset so you won't be binding to the point of not breathing. Although the boning is plastic, it's much better quality than plastic boning that I've seen in other corsets from Dreamgirl.

There are also two side panels which are like small corsets on the bottom of the left and right sides. There are five grommets with the same black ribbon on these areas. It adds a real cute accent to this product.



The pattern of this corset really is gorgeous! Above is a close-up of the outside pattern, which is pale-pink and black lace. I recommend that you snag this lovely corset if you can figure out the right size for you. If you are plus-size, you may want to go up a size since this is not stretchy and has no modesty panel in the back. Other than that, though, this one's a keeper! (Or a gift.)

I have given this corset to a friend of mine and she loves it! She reports no problems with the corset, but doesn't wear it too often.
