Diamond net thigh high - thigh highs discontinued by Baci - review by Breas

The diamond net thigh highs by Baci are available in black, green, and pink. I ordered the black pair. The thigh highs are only available in one-size-fits-most.

The thigh highs arrived packaged in a thin, rectangular box. The front of the packaging has a photo of a model wearing the stockings, and the company’s website stated. The back of the packaging has a back view of the model from the front of the packaging, states the material composition and the care instructions. Inside of the box, the thigh highs are neatly folded around a thin piece of cardboard, and inside of a plastic bag. The box is flimsy and probably not the best for storing the stockings in when they are not in use. Below is a photo of the packaging.



I’ve taken measurements of the thigh highs laying flat, unstretched. If you need additional measurements, please send me a message and I can get them for you.

Band at top of thigh: 5 ¾ inches x ½ inch
Length of thigh high: 27 ½ inches

The band at the top of the thigh high stretches to 12 ¾ inches, and that was measured when I stretched it as much as I possibly could. It would have been nice if the band would stretch a bit more because while I am an XL, it will probably be a bit tight even on a size medium. I didn’t have a problem putting the stockings on, but I found that when taking them off I had to be extra careful to avoid any tangling.

I didn’t find the band to be too uncomfortable, but it definitely gave me “muffin top” on my thighs and that didn’t make me look or feel sexy at all. I tried lowering the thigh highs on my legs, but regardless of where I put them, there was “muffin top” created. This isn’t a big deal if you are wearing the stockings with a skirt that covers the banded area on your legs because no one will see it. The only problem with covering the top of the thigh high is that the cute knitted design won’t be seen by anyone. The thigh highs are quite lengthy, and may not fit as well for those with shorter legs. I am 5’6, and the thigh highs come up to the very top of my leg with no effort at all. If you plan on wearing them with a pair of undies in the bedroom, beware that the muffin top effect is likely to occur! I had measured the band on my leg where it begins to become “muffiny”, and the circumference was at 16 inches (this is being a bit generous too). Obviously the larger the circumference, the more “muffiny” it will look.

The thigh highs stayed in place and did not fall down when I had worn them. The stockings are really stretchy, and while the band was a bit small, the rest of the thigh high was perfect. The band was made for smaller thighs, but the rest of the thigh high was made for anyone of any size.

The thigh highs are 95% nylon and 5% spandex. The materials of the thigh highs were not bothersome to my skin at all. The only thing that can be slightly uncomfortable is the band being a bit too tight. The toe area on the thigh highs has a much smaller netted design so that your toes do not poke through the stocking. I’ve taken a photo of the toe area when I was wearing the stockings (excuse my non-beautiful feet).



The care instructions on the packaging state that the thigh highs should be hand washed separately in cold water, line dried, and should not be bleached. While the thigh highs have not tangled on me yet, I know they have the potential of becoming a knotted nightmare. I will be storing my stockings on a hanger in my closet so that they do not tangle with any other stockings I own, or each other.

I had a hard time deciding on the rating that this product deserves. The design is nice and they seem to be well made. On the other hand, the bands are just way too small and if you are not careful with them, they will tangle and knot themselves. I came to the conclusion that a 3 out of 5 fits this product well because they aren’t amazing, but they really aren’t completely terrible either.
