The School Girl costume is fun, nicely made, easy to wash up, and well fitting. It is hand wash only and can ironed at low temperatures.Published: March 9, 2010
Pros:
High quality, easy to put on and take off, can be ironed, sexy.
Cons:
Hand wash only.
My boyfriend has had this obsession with me getting a school girl outfit for quite some time now. Well, I have given in and I liked it a lot! Hmmm, let me rephrase that; I loved it!
The School Girl costume made by Leg Avenue has been oh so much fun! I get dressed up and the fun is non stop. This costume is just fun, fun, fun. It is simple, easy to put on and take off, and really comfortable.
The set includes one shirt and one skirt. Really, it is pretty simple.
The shirt is a white dress shirt that lands just below the breast. It has a wide collar and plunging neckline. It is short sleeved and has a twist tie closure. There is nothing to putting this on or yanking it off in the moment! The materials for the shirt are 50% Nylon and 50% Polyester. Personally, I think it feels and looks just like a cotton shirt. It is really comfortable and is not itchy.
The plaid skirt looks like a real school girl piece but with one special addition. It has a Velcro patch on the back. This thing pulls around and fastens, and just as easily rips off. I love it (I am pretty sure the lover does too). This skirt is also very short. It extends just below the genital area in the front and shows off the butt in the back. It is black and red and is pleated. Very, very cute. It is also 50% Nylon and 50% Polyester.
The School Girl Costume is available in two sizes; either SM or ML. I chose the SM and it fits well. I really like it. The shirt contours my form, and it is adjustable with the Velcro fastener.
The costume comes in a clear plastic bag with a hanger for easy storing. It includes a cardboard insert with a picture or an attractive woman modeling the costume. The insert also has the size, style number, and care instructions.
Now this is where things may get a little confusing. I have noticed with most costumes, the packaging will give one set of care instructions and the care tag will give different instructions. The packaging reads: hand wash separately, drip dry, and do not bleach. But the tags of both pieces read: hand wash, no bleach, and tumble dry. Now I cannot tell you exactly what is right, or what you should do. All I can tell you is what I do with mine. I hand wash it in tepid water with a mild detergent, rinse, and then squeeze the moisture out of it. Next, I hang it to air dry. This process has worked well for me and so I stick with it. It can be ironed at a low temperature, and will be necessary after air drying if you want it wrinkle free.

Experience
The costume has fulfilled my partners fantasies and when paired with stockings and heels, the outfit really comes together. It has been a lot of fun.

No matter what, I get the smallest size and find that the garments are so big, they are falling off. Adults of all sizes enjoy role play, not just the women of the "ideal" size range. So, I can understand the frustration of not being able to find the costumes in the right size. You would think that they would offer more sizing options, as it would end up in more sales.
