Something blue sexy garter - garters discontinued by Cal Exotics - review by SexyNCurious69

I love lingerie and I thought that this sexy blue garter would make a nice addition to my collection. Now I'm not so sure! After waiting anxiously for this piece to arrive I was disappointed to find out it wasn't what it claimed to be. This garter comes in a plastic case that looks just like it does on the advertisement for it. It has a picture of a sexy model on the front of the case wearing the blue garter on her right leg. The back of the plastic case shows the model's leg a little bigger so you can see the garter. So what is the disappointment? Well after opening the plastic case inside I see a small plastic bag containing the garter which is where the problem occurs. The "sexy BLUE garter" is in fact not blue. Nothing about this product is blue. It was more of a pale sea foam green. The color wasn't exactly ugly it just wasn't what I thought I was getting. Even the plastic case has "Something Blue" wrote on it. I was disappointed.


I decided to give the "green" garter the benefit of the doubt and try it on anyways. I was surprised to find out that it fit comfortably and it did look sexy once you put it on. I was surprised because after realizing it wasn't the right color I figured it would be poorly made or uncomfortable. My husband even thought it was sexy. Well looks can be deceiving. The feathers attached to the bow on the garter were falling off. I'm sure after putting it on a few times I wouldn't have any feathers left so we were very careful taking it off.


There isn't a tag on this garner and it didn't come with any kind of cleaning and/or care instructions. For me, when and if I wear it enough to clean it, I would suggest carefully hand washing it. I would be very cautious of the feathers (if there are any left by the time you wash it). As for drying I would suggest lying it flat to dry.


Overall it wasn't the worst thing I have ever seen. The garter was comfortable to wear even though the feathers didn't stay attached. As for the color, it's not too bad. Of course not everybody has the same opinion in taste so it would depend on the individual buying this garter and whether or not you like the color sea foam green!

Well I decided to pull out the "blue" garter to give it another try. Of course it still ISN'T blue- it's a sea foam green. The color didn't bother me, however after putting it on I noticed that the feathers were still falling out. I doubt I use it any more because I don't have very many feathers left in it now and it just isn't worth trying to keep using it and then having to clean up the feathery mess!
