California Exotic's Party Time Candy Man is a men's lingerie set that comes with a thong and a bow tie. The colors are bright red and white stripes that could work for a sexy holiday surprise or anytime of year going on the 'candy striper' theme. I almost think a guy could pull this off with a doctor's costume if that's what you're into. The bow tie would look a little cheesy, but added to a button down shirt, it could work.

Let's get to what you get when you purchase the Party Time Candy Man. It comes in a hard plastic envelope that says Party Time very large down the left side with 'Candy Man' written smaller below and a picture of very tan, muscled man wearing the outfit on the right.

The container is not discreet. At all. There is no mystery as to what is inside this package. On the back, the left side has more writing which reads 'PARTY TIME Candy Man: Comfortable and Stretchy, This playful costume includes a sexy bow tie and an easy release thong. One size fits most.' Below this is the bar code, copyright information, and material specs.

According to the package, the outfit is made of four parts. The elastic is 79% polyester, 21% Elastic; the trim elastic is 25% cotton and 75% Nylon; the actual underwear material is 82% polyamide and 18% spandex; and the easy release hooks are ABS. In contrast, the tag thong says that the material is 95% polyester and 5% spandex. I don't know how to tell which is correct, but I'm inclined to go with what's on the actual clothing. The bow tie feels like it is made of the same material as the thong and is attached to some basic white elastic that is sewn in a circle.

When I pulled the items straight from the package I notice no odor or taste. The directions on the tag say 'hand wash cold', so the first thing I did was hand wash these puppies and hang dry them. I was a little concerned that the bright red might bleed into the white lines, but this was not a problem at all. After washing, the material still feels smooth and silky.

The design of the thong is pretty standard with the thinner strip up the back and the extra room in front that men need. The neat part about this thong are the easy release hooks. There are plastic hooks on each side that are just like the hooks that you find on woman's bathing suits. One side is closed and the other is open at one end but with a bump to keep the fabric from sliding off before you're ready. The easy release hooks allow you to remove the thong without having to slide them all the way down, which can help you get down to business that much faster!

As I'm not male and currently single, I can't comment on the fit of these, but they look kinda small to me. They are pretty stretchy, but you do have to worry about putting too much strain on those plastic easy release hooks. In the interest of giving you some idea of sizing, I stretched these little guys as far as I felt comfortable and measured across the waist. It looks like about 17 inches across, so I would guess maybe a 34 inch waist would be the max on these.

Measuring from the top to where the crotch hangs lowest with the back evenly lined up with the front, I'm getting 9 inches, but I'm not sure how that would translate once they're on. One note on the construction, there is a VERY noticeable seam right down the middle of the front. It's even noticeable in the picture on the package. When I look on the inside, you can see an obvious seam with thread running all along it. It seems like it might be a little uncomfortable to me. Also, the tag with the care instructions is centered right where your butt crack would be when wearing these. It's the scratchy kind, and rather large, so it also seems like it might be irritating. The tag can easily be cut off once you are familiar with the care instructions, though, so it's not a huge concern to me.

The bow tie isn't anything fancy. It' appears to be a rectangular piece of fabric attached to the elastic by sewing another piece of the fabric around the middle. If pull either side of the bow tie it will slide and could come out, but it is fairly easy to put back together. The entire bow tie piece can be moved on the elastic to reveal where the elastic is connected together. The elastic piece measures at about 12 inches, but does stretch. The fit seemed pretty firm to me however, the bow tie material itself is not firm at all and tends to droop a little. I am working on getting a volunteer to try these out for me and plan to include his opinion in my follow-up.
