Absolute treasure garter panty - sexy panty discontinued by Fantasy Lingerie - review by Do emu

Overview:
My partner was the one who originally showed this panty to me. He has an eye for detail and saw the gorgeous design on the front zoomed in. We both said, “yes!” to this piece, and it went into my cart. I have since worn this item several times and am fairly pleased with how they feel.
This panty has garters attached to it. They cannot be removed, unfortunately. The panty matches the absolute treasure teddy, embroidery bra and garter panty set, simply sexy lace back corset, and the simply sexy demi cup babydoll pieces available on Eden. It would be a fun piece to mix and match with!


Packaging:
The panty came on a plastic hanger, which is something I kept for other pieces but will not use it to store this piece. These panties can just be folded and stored with other underwear.


Material and care:
This panty comes in only one color set, which is gold and black. They are super comfortable as well as sexy, which is a plus for me! The material is made of nylon mesh, though it's hard to tell from the photos. In the front due to the details it is not as noticeable that it is mesh. It has a beautiful gold filigree pattern, but the back is plain and is pretty obviously see-through. This was not something I was expecting from the picture in the model, but that's how it always goes, right?
As far as care goes, the tag says, “Machine wash-warm; gentle wash darks separately. Tumble dry low. Remove promptly; do not twist or wring. Made in China.” Due to the mesh, I stick this pair in my delicates back so as to protech them from snags from zippers or hooks that might ruin it. I noticed after a few washes, the gold buttons in the back turned to more of a brass color. My partner says he likes the brass more with this set, though, but not everyone will. I also noticed after a few washes that the garters tend to curl up, but they aren't too stubborn when attempting to straighten them out.


Sizing:
This panty comes in six sizes: Small, medium, large, 1X, 2X, and 3X. Here is the size chart from Fantasy Lingerie:

I was warned to be careful when comparing my sizes to Fantasy's size chart. I ordered a medium since my hips are about 40inches, and was delighted to see that they fit me well. I would say when in doubt, order a size up. It's much better to have underwear that are a little loose than to have them be digging into your skin!


Design:
The design of this piece is gorgeous. I loved the pattern and the cute buttons in the back. For some reason, the middle button on my pair doesn't stay very well. It comes unbuttoned, which makes them free to move around and hurt my butt when I am sitting. I am wearing these around the house whilte sitting, I can feel the button hiding in the crack of my tush, which isn't a very pleasant feeling.
I think the one major flaw of this piece is the fact that the garters are not detachable. I have a few other panties with garters that are detachable, and I just can't fathom why Fantasy decided to make them a permanent part of the piece. Maybe to force you to look sexy at all times? Who knows. The garters are slightly noticeable underneath other clothes.
When the garters are put to use, I feel like they pull the panties down a bit. I tried adjusting them as I tend to make things tighter than they should be, but I found with little tension with the stockings, I felt like I had to pull my panties up a bit.

In the close-up of the front photo, you can see how they are still mesh behind the design. You can see from the back photo that the middle button is a little droopy. I think I will end up reinforcing these buttons to hope that they stay in place a bit better. The last time I wore them I thought one of the buttons was going to come off that day, so I guess I was lucky that they didn't.

If you and your partner are into anal, these would be a gorgeous piece to tease your partner with. I haven't tried it, but I imagine that with a little adjusting, they may be wearable during anal sex.

These are fairly cute panties, even with the garters. If someone didn't really like them, they could probably just cut off the garters and wear them as regular panties. My biggest problem has been the buttons in the back. Sadly they became completely discolored and even after reinforcing the buttons the don't really feel the best while sitting down. If you wanted to just stand or pose in them, they're fine, but not very practical otherwise.
