Overview
The Absolute Treasure Garter Panty by Fantasy Lingerie is a product that I was apprehensive about for awhile. On the one hand it's super cute and I really wanted it. On the other it was kind of pricy and I had questions such as: Are the garters detachable? So I waited for a review. Upon reading Hot ‘N Sexy TexasMama’s Absolutely Adorable I found that the garters could not be removed. This made me lose hope for the product. But then I saw the glorious pictures that made them look better than in the product page. I decided to go for it. While I can say this is one of the sexiest pairs of underwear I own that isn’t a thong I will also say that they are not so sexy on me. As it turns out my butt is a no man’s land for this pair and so this is the review of the most beautiful panties that will not look beautiful on me.

Material and Texture
According to the tag the Absolute Treasure is 100% nylon but it looks to me like mesh and feels as satiny soft as a good pair of thigh highs. At the front and sides of the hips heading slightly toward the back of this garment there is a soft, lace detail that is slightly darker than the mesh in the back but still sheer. This difference gives an illusion to the garment. The front is darker, making it's sheerness less noticeable whereas the back portion leaves little to the imagination. Inside the panty there is a cotton crotch which measures 4.5 inches in length and 2 inches across. This is a great feature since without the cotton bacteria would fester.


Design and Craftsmanship
The design of this panty is exquisite, the product page doesn't do it justice. The lace design cumulates toward the front in an intricate V-shape leaving the mesh below it sheer but allowing the front to leave a little to the imagination. In reality the front is sheer just like the back but the lace and it’s design distract the eye much more so than the back buttons do. The detail is not floral but more semi-circles and loops. This design starts out black then begins to twine in with a gold detail. Adding to the color is a second lining of gold mesh sewn on the inside of the panty.
The back of the Absolute Treasure has much more of a minimalist detail since the only design here are the three gold buttons resting in the middle of the garment. These buttons can be undone if you so choose and they are not just sewn in for effect. However, they are slightly heavier than the thread holding them in place so it is likely that at some point they’ll come loose. As long as you can retain or replace one of the buttons once it comes undone you should be fine to sewn them back on.
The Absolute Treasure does come with attached garters that cannot be removed. You should have no problem using these to attach your hose to the garment. As you can see from the measurements listed below the garters in the back are a bit less lengthy than those in the front. I believe this was done because the back portion is lower than the front where the garters lay on the fabric and it is to align them. Overall the craftsmanship of this piece is fantastic and, either than the weighty buttons, I see nothing wrong with the stitching.




Packaging and Cleaning
Surprisingly the Absolute Treasure came to me housed within a clear bag on a white, plastic, hanger. I for one did not expect to get a panty on a hanger but it was a pleasant surprise. Anyhow to clean this garment the manufacturer recommends “Machine wash warm gentle wash darks separately. Tumble dry low, remove promptly, do not twist or wring.” So yay it can be machine washed! I for one did not do this but will probably try in the near future. I would recommend that if you do wash this on the gentle cycle doing so in cold water instead of warm though. Warmer water is usually harsher on colors. As for the do not twist or wring portion once I read this I decided to see if anything bad would happen. So, after hand washing, I twisted and rung. Nothing is out of place, torn or the like so I suppose as long as your twisting this and not your dryer it should be fine.

Something that I like about this panty is that it comes in a wide range of sizes from S-3X.
This means that there is an opportunity for this jewel to be worn by almost anyone who desires it. Unfortunately the sizing of this panty was a problem for me. In the past while perusing a review regarding a Coquette panty I was warned that my hip/butt range was middle territory. Since my panties are usually small and I’ve had mixed results with Fantasy Lingerie in the past I decided to take a chance and got the small. I have found that while this fits my hips snuggly and the front portion is comfortable, not cutting into my crotch, the back is too small for my derrière. Going from the middle where the last button lays this measures at 7 inches of fabric horizontally. I have found that it is not enough for my bottom. It leads to an unflattering middle ground where this is not a thong nor does it provide full coverage. My butt looks like it’s trying to eat this panty. I’m going to recommend that the small be reserved for those in the 36 inch hip range maximum. Also, since the sides and front portions fit me well I think the medium should be purchased by someone whose hips are 40 inches.
Likes and Dislikes
What I wasn’t so fond of
There are only two things wrong with this garment: the garters are not removable and my butt keeps trying to suck in what fabric it can find. With time I’ll get over the butt issue because hey I got them on sale so I shouldn’t complain so much. As for the garters I just feel like people should have the opportunity to wear this garment whether or not there are stockings involved because these are so sexy on their own. For future references I can only hope Fantasy Lingerie will make the garters detachable.

What I liked
While I may not be able to properly enjoy these panties myself I am glad to be in the minority when it comes to this issue. For the most part Fantasy Lingerie has done an excellent job at accommodating these panties towards persons of all sizes. This is not something that is always done with lingerie so it was a nice touch. I would also like to say that this is just such a gorgeous piece that was excellently crafted so for anyone that may have had these on their wishlists and fear taking the plunge as long as the garters aren’t a problem for you they’re worth it.

From my original review I gathered that the weighted down buttons on the back of this garment would be a problem. Personally I never wore this panty after my review because I didn’t like how it fit me. But I have recently pulled it out of my drawers to find that one of the buttons is missing, unfortunately I cannot say for how long. Because of this I strongly urge anyone who purchases this item to reinforce the buttons so that they do not come undone while you are wearing them out and potentially be lost forever.
