The Mistress of the Dungeon Chemise by DreamGirl is packaged on a black, plastic hanger inside a clear, plastic bag. The hanger is appropriate for storing your garment in the closet, but might crack and break over time.

The material is a stretchy, black polyester knit. It is shiny, smooth and black on the outside and a soft, matte black on the inside. The material is made to mimic the 'wet' look, or cheap, shiny leather. A former owner of several items made of this material (I was a teenager in the 80's), I know that with proper care this wet look material is actually very durable, retains its original shape and can last longer than you really want it to.

Hand wash the chemise in cool water using a mild detergent and let it drip dry. Do not fold this chemise, or anything else you own that is the wet look material. Folding creates deep and long lasting creases in the material that may remain permanently. Always hang these garments up or store them perfectly flat. The Mistress chemise could be stored folded in half lengthways at the laces, and then stored flat.

You may iron this on low setting, however I do recommend that you put a cloth between the material and the iron to prevent melting or scorching. This material does not snag very easily, however when you do get a snag, place a freshly blown out match head against the snag and let it 'melt' back into the original fabric. Do this very carefully to prevent creating a burn hole in the fabric. Polyester is very flammable and will melt back into itself. It does seem to repel the flame, but I would not call this a flame retardant material.

The Mistress Chemise is patterned after a tank top dress that has had the front and back areas cut out and replaced by grommets and thin, round lacing. The lacing is very elastic and stretchy. The bust area does have a ruched tube top stitched into the dress. If the shoulder straps are adjusted correctly, it can add a small amount of support for your breasts.

The chemise has a nice amount of stretch to it, so it will hug your voluptuous curves. If you adjust the laces to fit, this material will fit smoothly over your curves and suck in a bit of the jiggly areas. However, when the light reflects off this material it can also highlight certain trouble areas. Beware the love handles!! My booty is smooth, tight and round looking, though.

I have stretch marks and a belly pooch, so I was pretty worried about wearing this open, front laced chemise. I do have the Garter Waist Cincher and had planned to wear that with this chemise, but once I had this on and laced right for my figure I did not need to add it to mask my tummy. The lacing pattern hides the problem areas and I was able to tighten the chemise enough in the front to hide 97% of the skin and pooch.

The breast area needed a bit of adjusting to keep my 43D's in the little cups of the tube bra. The ruching in the middle helped, along with the stretchy material, and after I adjusted the shoulder straps a bit tighter, it pulled the bottom of the tube up enough to add just enough support for my two girls.

My husband's jaw dropped to the floor and my wild and sexy night was ON as soon as he saw this outfit on me. He loves the smooth curves, slide of the material against his skin and my butt. Due to the elastic nature of the lacing, it tightens the bottom of the chemise so it does not ride up and provide a full moon. Overall, I would get the Mistress chemise again and again!!

This is a flattering, comfortable and so sexy outfit. My husband loves this outfit and so do I!! I am surprised, but the material is holding up very well, has not stretched out of shape or snagged!!

I did wear a tank top under this and pulled up the skirt area to make this a neat and sexy looking 'shirt' that is appropriate for public wear. Love this outfit!!
