The Sleigh Belle Christmas costume by DreamGirl is a red hot way to heat up your holidays! Regardless of whether you wear it for role playing in the bedroom to be the little nymphet of his very own spectacular Christmas fantasy, or out to a holiday party or event, you'll be sure to melt some icicles wearing this hot number!

The dress itself is entirely red, with white accents of faux fur at the long sleeved wrists, around the hood, and at the hem.

The body of the dress is made of 100% polyester, but looks like red crushed velvet. The inside of the garment is also 100% polyester and actually feels like the polyester we are all familiar with. It is accented with white faux fur at the hem, wrists, and around the hood of the costume. The fur is made of 79% acrylic and 21% polyester. The skirt of the dress includes a soft polyester white lining hemmed with white tulle lace which feels starched. Polyester fabrics have certainly come a long way. Polyester has taken on 5 very different and distinct forms in this dress. Polyester is a very versatile and durable fabric that apparently can mimic many other fabrics while making the garment stronger and easier to care for. There is little stretch to the costume.


The dress is hooded and may be worn on the head or off as desired. The bottom of the hood is adorned with a pair of strong white braided ties with faux fur pom-poms on the ends. These may be tied together if wished. The bodice zips up to the neck from 4" above the waist and can be modestly zipped up high, or seductively unzipped to disclose the treasures within.

The attached lace petticoat is a wonderful touch that poofs out the skirt of the dress nicely but in the back, my booty was hanging out! If in the bedroom this is a very sexy look. However, the length is a little shorter than you may feel comfortable wearing out in public. This may be remedied by getting a larger size as I tried, but while the length will be longer, the bust will be looser and less sexy.

1X/2X



In my quest for the right length, I started out with the 1X/2X, thinking this would solve the problem, as it had with another DreamGirl purchase I had made, alas it did not, so I ordered the 3X/4X next just to see...this fixed the length but made the bodice less appealing. However, I would certainly have no qualms about wearing this size in public.

3X/4X


As you can see, this size is looser and shows less cleavage and can be worn with a bra; where the 1X/2X can not. It also covers my booty while the 1X/2X did not.

The entire length of the 1X/2X from the shoulder down is 33". The waist is 21" down from the shoulders.
The entire length of the 3X/4X From the shoulder down is 36" The waist is 21" down from the shoulders.

The cut on the waist of this dress can be unforgiving if you are not blessed with a small one. My waist measurement while the pictures above were taken was 38" and looks much bigger with the cut of the dress.
On the bright side, I do have actual measurements for both sizes.

The 1X/2X is sized more of a 14-16 and the 3X/4X is more of a 16-18.

Due to the stress put on the zipper, I do not believe much more boobage than a 44C or D will fit the 1X/2X and still be able to be zipped without harm to the zipper. The 3X/4X will hold up to a 50DD.

The waist size of the 1X/2X was pretty spot on. It fit perfectly, if not flatteringly.
The waist size of the 2X/3X, I believe would fit a 46" waist.

As the hip of the dress is flared out, there is plenty of hip room in both sizes and really doesn't factor into the fit.

My advice on sizing would be to first decide just how sexy you want to look and take it from there. Order your regular size for a tight bosomed, short lengthed sexy for the bedroom look; a size bigger for a decently covered night on the town. It is important that you go by your measurements and not your regular clothing size to not go wrong. Remember that the bust runs a little small.


DreamGirl recommends dry cleaning only. I believe this is possibly because of the fur. I have suspicians that the red might bleed onto the white, but I could be wrong. It is safe to say that I won't be getting any dry cleaning done and will spot clean as needed.

The hood of the costume was a bit large, but it is supposed to fit loosely to frame the face and neck in a pretty way. Sorry about there being no pictures of that.

The costumes thick material, long sleeves and hood make it warm and toasty for winter time wear. A bit too warm for me in the bedroom. Of course, it will come right off!

The white fur is plush and the stitching is finely done.
This costume makes for an outfit which is entirely acceptable to wear out in public if it fits you in bust and length.


The Sleigh Belle costume comes in a hanging plastic bag with a picture of a model wearing the costume. No one would look twice as it looks much like any holiday costume would.


Wearing some cute red or white ruffled panties has crossed my mind. These are the ones offered here on Eden, but may be found easily at other retail stores: [https://cdn2.edenfantasys.com/pi/LA2990WOS.jpg] or [https://cdn2.edenfantasys.com/pi/LGC0009OS.jpg] are examples that would maybe appeal to some and be darling underneath your petticoat.

This costume is really nice to have at Christmas! I wore it to a party and everyone just loved it. The white boots in the pictures accentuated the costume and made it a big hit! I decided to keep the smaller size 1X because it was just sexier on my body. Returned the more modest 3X. I found some frilly red boyshorts to wear and that solved the problem of my booty hanging out.

Another bonus with this costume is that with the hood and thick material it was warm to wear outside; where I was forced to go smoke!

The only down side is when washing by hand, be sure to keep the white trim out of the sink or it will fade red onto it. I managed to do that after test spotting a small area where it did fade. It wasn't too hard, but luckily I won't have to wash it often, as it's seasonal.
