The Doc Johnson Pocket Rocket is a good toy with great vibrations. It is a great addition to any toy “collection” that you may have. I really loved this toy and how well it got the job done. The only small problem I have is that the battery dies somewhat quickly. I used this toy once each day for two days, and the battery started to die. But, this toy takes only one AA battery, so it is not at all expensive to replace it when it dies. This toy is compact and small, so you can throw it in your purse for wherever you go. The package says that this toy is waterproof, but there is only a small plastic ring by the battery compartment to keep water out. I would say it is waterproof as long as you make sure the ring is in the right place, otherwise water can get into the battery compartment. There is only one speed for this toy, and that is high. I was able to get two speeds out of the toy by positioning the twist bottom in between off and on to get a low vibration, but I would not recommend doing that in case it may damage the toy. This toy also has 4 interchangeable heads to put on your pocket rocket, as well as a small bottle of water based lube. All in all, the Pocket Rocket seems like it will be one of my go to toys from now on.

The Pocket Rocket is made completely of a hard plastic. There is no give to this toy at all, so if you like a little flexibility in your toys, this one would not be for you. The interchangeable heads that come with this toy are also made from the same hard plastic that the pocket rocket is made from. Three of the four attachments have raised parts on them that are also made from hard plastic. I will talk more about the attachments later on. Inside the pocket rocket, there is a small motor that is intense. The pocket rocket itself is very smooth, only the very bottom of the pocket rocket has grooves in it. It is a very well made toy. The lube that comes with this toy is a water based lube. It does not have any distinct smell to it, but it does not feel smooth at all. I rubbed some between my fingers, and it felt like there was sand or dirt in the mix that you could not see. I decided not to use the lube after feeling the texture.

The design of the pocket rocket is quite simple and the same as most other pocket rockets out there. The waterproofing of the toy is just a plastic ring, so there could be some water that gets into the unit if the ring is not positioned right. To turn on this toy, all you do is twist the bottom clockwise. To turn it off, you just turn the bottom of the toy in the opposite direction. The attachments that come with the toy are run of the mill attachments, until you actually feel them. One of the attachments is a dome shape that you put on top of the pocket rocket. The dome is very smooth and lets you feel the vibrations the most of all the attachments. The second attachment that comes with the toy is one that has 6 slightly raised pads on top. The padded attachment really lowers the intensity of the vibrations and really does not hit any key points. The third attachment has 12 spikes on top. The box says it is a 12 “point pleaser," but they feel more like spikes than points. Even before putting the 12 spike attachment on the toy, I felt the top of the attachment. Let me tell you it is sharp. I was afraid I was going to draw blood using it. While actually using the 12 spike attachment, it was not pleasurable for me. It actually did hurt, and not a good hurt, when the vibe was on with the attachment. For a sensitive area, spikes are not the way to go. Now the last attachment has 43 little spikes on the top of it. They call it the 43 “point acu-massager." Again, this one feels like the 12 spike attachment. The spikes, even though small, are sharp and hurt. Out of all the attachments, I have been using the dome one only after trying out all the others. Another good thing about this toy is the size. It is a small toy that can fit in the palm of your hand. You can hide it in your hand after using it to run to the bathroom to clean it off.

The pocket rocket works just as you would expect it to. It has intense vibrations for someone who needs the vibrations of their toys to be intense. Also, you can use the attachments to alter how you feel the vibrations as well. To control this toy, all you have to do is turn the bottom portion of the toy to the on position. There is no speed or intensity control on this toy. It only has one speed, and that is high The only thing you can control is how you feel the vibration. This toy is also not too loud. You can hear it under the covers, but you cannot hear it through a door, which is good.

This toy is very easy to care for. I would recommend using a water based lube on it since that is what came in the box with the toy. To clean this toy, I would wash it in hot water and an anti-bacterial soap. You can also use a toy cleaner on it if you would like to. I keep this toy in the plastic bag it came in. If you open the bag it comes in right at the top, you can reuse it for your toy. You can also keep this toy in its box, but the box is kind of big for the size of the toy that it contained.

The Pocket Rocket came in a very pretty box. The box though is not really discreet at all. There is no picture of someone nude, but on the front of the box in very big letters, it tells you what is inside the box. Other than that, it has this really pretty and intricate “iron fence” design in pink around the whole box. On the back of the box, it gives a short description of what is inside the box and has pictures of the four attachments.

I simply adore this Pocket Rocket. It works like a charm every single time that I use it. The only thing I would say that I did not like about this toy is three of the four attachments. The spiked ones really made me fear using them because of how sharp they feel. I did not get off when using them, but I think that is because I was afraid that I was going to hurt myself and bleed. The flat pads did not get me off as well. I believe it was because I need strong vibrations, and the flat pads made me feel the vibrations less. I do in fact love the dome attachment. I was able to climax in record time using the dome. The vibrations felt wonderfully strong. I have used this toy almost every day since I got it, which should say how much I love it.
