Cancer the Crab

Fun Factory combines their penchant for whimsy with practical and the Astrovibes line is a perfect example. Astrovibes Cancer has cute crabs and enough vroom and girth to make this loyal, nesting Cancer girl cozy and all happy inside and out.

My preference leans toward a stronger vibration though by all accounts this is a great product.

Use

Astrovibes Cancer vibrator comes from a line of Astrology sign vibrators by Fun Factory. This traditional vibrator is battery operated and functions by twisting the dial at the bottom of the vibrator, making it suitable for a beginner.

Material / Texture

Astrovibes Cancer is made from silicone. There is some texturing to this product as there are whimsical crabs and dots dimpled and protruding slightly all around the vibe. The protrusions add to the look of the vibrator but you don't really feel them while using this toy. There is no smell to the product.

Design / Shape / Size

This is a nice sized vibe; just like mama bear's porridge in Goldilocks and the Three Bears - it's not too big and not too small. Astrovibes Cancer is slightly tapered at the tip and thicker at the base. The insertable length is 6 1/2 inches with the dial base taking up an extra inch. I was impressed with the overall appearance of this vibrator and thought it was a perfect toy to give as a present to someone for its cuteness and size.

Functions / Performance / Controls

There is a dial base to this vibrator with a battery compartment. Two AA batteries are all that is required for a decent amount of power. The vibrations are easy to turn on when the vibe is inside you; keep a few fingers held firm to the base of the vibe and manipulate the twist dial with remaining free fingers. I appreciated how easy it was to rev up or down the vibes with a simple twist. The Astrovibes Cancer isn't too noisy but could probably be heard outside of the room it is operating in. The intensity of the vibrations was average and the noise does increase slightly with the level of intensity. I thought the motor was decent and the vibration could be felt throughout the toy.

Care and Maintenance

Although this vibrator is made of silicone, because of the dial base you cannot boil this product to clean. I suggest using sex toy cleaner and wipes and using condoms if you share this vibe. Use water based lube only with this item. You can store with other toys but you might want to make a pouch for storage as silicone attracts dust, pet hair etc.

You can never have too many sex toys in your arsenal and this is great vibe to have around in a pinch. There has been no wear or tear and I like the feel of silicone.

      The Butterfly Kiss is a popular, reasonably priced toy with great reviews! It may not be a forever favorite, as your friend may realize she wants a bit deeper or fuller penetration, but it's great for beginners to see what they do and do not like as it stimulates both externally and internally.

      I would say the differences would be the textures since each sign has their own unique look/texture to them.
    • I have the Aquarius and it doesn't have a lot of texture if that is a deciding factor for you.
