Cupid ripples - vibrator by Shaki Toys - review by BeautifulDarkness

I chose cupid ripples because of all the different things about it. I wanted to try something new that had lots of different settings, as well as a different feel to it. This vibrator can be used for different types of stimulation: such as vaginal, clitoral, and any other area of your body that you like to stimulate. This vibrator does not have a flared base, so I would not recommend using it for anal. This would be good for someone who wants to try something new or to figure out what you like. The width of this vibrator increases the further down the shaft you go, so you could easily find the right width for your body. However, I found that I enjoyed the ripples more on my clitoris, than I did inserting it into my body.

This vibrator is made out of TPR silicone. It is hypo-allergenic, latex free, and phthalates free. It is squishy, but has a firm feel to it. It is smooth, but I found that even though I don't normally use lubricant, that it was needed. Without lubricant, I could feel the small ripples catch with each thrust and it was more uncomfortable than it was pleasing. With lubricant, I could still feel it, but it wasn't as bad. You should only use water based lube with this toy.

The design and shape of this vibrator is perfect for someone experimenting. There are 4 rounded waves to this vibrator, including the rounded tip. Each wave gets bigger in width as you move down the shaft going from 3.5 inches to 5.5 inches. The rounded tip has a smooth texture, then the next 3 waves have ripples, and the last 1.5 inches is smooth again. This could easily help someone find the width that they like in a vibrator. The cupid ripple is almost 8 inches in length, but only 6 inches of it is insertable.

I don't think this would be good for a beginner, but I do think it would be good for a person or couple who wants to try something new, or to get a feel for what they would like in a toy.

The Cupid ripples has 8 different levels/functions that can be easily reached by pressing one button on the very tip of vibrator. With each push you get a different function and level of vibration. The levels/functions of the vibrator are:

7. The strongest vibration
8. Multi-speed vibration mix

On the weakest setting, the vibrations are very light and you can hardly feel them. But on the strongest setting, after about 30 seconds, my hand feels like it is going to go numb.

The noise level of this vibrator changes with each push of the button. The more you push, the louder it gets. But even on the loudest setting, it will not be heard through a closed door.

It is waterproof and functions just as well in the water as out.

I love when vibrators are waterproof, it makes them very easy to clean. You can just wash them in the sink or bath/shower (if you enjoy playing while getting clean) with a mild soap or toy cleaner. You could easily store this toy in the box it comes in, or a zip lock bag if you don't have a toy box. As long as it's in a cool dry place, this toy should last a long time.
