The Cupid Ripples is a traditional vibrator in both size and execution. It has multiple functions that make it easy to find the perfect vibration pattern for any user. This toy was great for clitoral and internal stimulation, and perfect for beginners! I had gotten this toy as a free gift with any order, but it was my first experience with a vibrator, and I can say with confidence that it was perfect for someone who was completely new. I enjoyed using this toy both solo and with my partner, and while it is a substantial size, it is not too large to store easily.

The ripples are made of TPR Silicone, which is only a 6 on the EF safety scale. There was a faint rubbery/plastic scent to it when we removed it from its packaging, but that smell has since disappeared. The ripples are a unique texture, and I enjoyed the give and take of them as I moved this toy. I believe this texture is fine for beginners, unless textured vibrators just aren't your thing. If you don't enjoy textures, you may want to avoid this product.

I really enjoyed the design and shape of this product. As I said, this was my first foray into vibrators, and I thought the shape was perfect for beginners. The Cupid Ripples offers a smaller tip and grows gradually larger, which helps with beginners. I thought the size, with 6 inches of insertable length, would be great for anyone; it isn't too much, but it is enough to feel it. It is a straight shape, and I found it difficult to get any G-spot stimulation due to the design of the toy. It is only easy to hide if you are prepared to toss it in a drawer. This is an average size toy, not too small, but not too large.

As a beginning vibrator, I enjoyed the Cupid Ripples' performance. The vibrations were located throughout the toy, which was nice. It has four main settings, all of which provide a different vibration pattern. I enjoyed cycling through the functions because I was trying out each setting to find what worked for me. The pulsating is my personal favorite, followed by the rollercoaster, but all four are great for playing.

The control button is located on the end of the toy, and I felt that this was a convenient placement because you don't have to worry about it getting messy. This was particularly helpful in partner play because my fingers were already there. They were easy to use: one click to change functions, a click and hold to turn the device off. The vibrations are a little noisy, but nothing that can be heard outside of the room with the door closed.

Because this toy is made of TPR silicone, it is not compatible with silicone lubricants (it can cause a breakdown in the material). It is safe to use with water-based lubes though. The silicone also makes this toy easy to clean using warm water and soap or a toy cleanser. Unfortunately, with all of the ridges on the shaft of this toy, it is time consuming to properly clean every nook of it. I use wipes and just run the wipe between each rib with my finger nail. It seems to do the job just fine.

As I said, this toy was a free gift with our purchase and my first vibrator. I found it to be exactly what I needed as a beginner. While it was intimidating before I used it, I quickly found my groove. I definitely think this toy is excellent for any user.
