Cute and Potent

The Paul and Paulina might be slightly pricey, but it's worth it for a durable toy that can get you off fantastically.

useful review
I really love my Paul and Paulina. This was my first toy that was a bit expensive, but I can say that it was an investment. I bought mine over a year and a half ago, and it's still going strong despite the rather frequent use and abuse. The batteries don't last too long, but considering the two moving parts I guess that's to be expected.

This toy is kind of strangely shaped. The base is bulky and can be a bit awkward during use, and I accidentally turned mine off a few times before I got used to it. It's thick around the base of the shaft and the ridges are very noticeable during use, in a good way. The material is soft to the touch but very dense and not very flexible. It also warms up to body temperature fairly quickly. However, because the material is soft it can be a bit uncomfortable at first. Lube is definitely helpful.

It's pretty loud; the vibrator isn't too noisy but the shaft has this annoying motor sound. I'm not sure if you could hear it through a door, but I wouldn't be surprised if you could. I've noticed some people say it attracts lint, but I haven't had that problem. It's really easy to clean, but you have to be careful to not get water in the motor. I wash mine with mild soap and warm water, then dry it off with a towel and let it sit out on the counter to dry the rest of the way.

It hits my g-spot just right, but the clit stimulator doesn't quite sit perfectly. The angle isn't right for me, but I imagine it would be fine for others; everyone's different. Still, now that I've got the hang of using it, it reliably gives me some spectacular orgasms. It's a quality product that doesn't disappoint. I would definitely buy it again.

Thanks for the review, and welcome to the community! Since the clit stimulator didn't quite fit your anatomy (as rabbits often don't, since we're all shaped differently), was it flexible enough to be pressed into place?

Thanks for the welcome! Yes, it can be pressed in place, but it's pretty stiff. It was a little frustrating at first, until I got the hang of using it.

I'm surprised that the clit stimulator doesn't hit your clit and you still gave the toy four stars. Doesn't the clit stimulator then get in the way of stimulating your clit with something else?

It does hit the clit, just not perfectly, as I said. It's because of that I gave it four stars rather than five. It works fine once you get used to it, and like I said I really love mine.

Sounds like it's worth the investment! Rabbit vibes can tend to be a bit of a trial and error at first. Have you tried it turned the other way round to stimulate the perineum? I second Epiphora's question though would the nub get in the way of using a second vibe for clitoral stimulation? Or say a tongue? *cheeky grin*

Good review, thanks!

You wrote: "because the material is soft it can be a bit uncomfortable at first" -- I'm not sure what that means. Does the material catch on your skin?

This review is well-written, and I think it would be more complete if you included info about the vibe's functions and what type/number of batteries it takes. I do like that you included info on battery life and a detailed description of the texture/flexibility of the toy. Keep up the good work!

What exactly does the toy do?

Wow, Sorry people! Didn't realize there were more questions. Here you go!

Airen: Yes, I did try to turn it around once, but it just didn't work. The shape was all wrong for that. The clitoral stimulator was angled wrong and too short for that anal or perineal stimulation.

Rockin: It takes 4 AAs. It has two slide type controls, one that controls the rotation and the other the vibration, plus an on/off switch.

Rockin: (missed this part before) No, it doesn't catch your skin, it's just not slippery. It has an almost dry, skin-like texture.

Meowminx: The toy is designed to work as a dual vaginal/clitoral stimulator. The shaft is inserted while the smaller nub rests against the clitoris. When turned on, the shaft rotates and the nub vibrates, although you can control how much of each you get.

Rockin: actually, the controls are more like dials than slides, now that I think about it again.

  • realistic or non?
    • do you prefer realistic or non realistic vibes? i like the ones that don't look like penises but still have some familiar shape, such as this one
    • I have both realistic and non-realistic toys, and I find that the "heads" of realistic toys provide more stimulation for me most of the time. However, there are times when the shapes of my non-realistic toys are very stimulating as well. Guess it depends on the actual toy itself and my preference that day :-)

I prefer non-realistic vibes and dildos but that's mainly because I have nosey teenagers.
