Flex for Me!Finally, a silicone double penetration toy! Flex makes it easy to achieve vaginal and anal stimulation at the same time. I usually use a stationary anal toy, vaginal toy, and clit vibrator all at once. Flex improves on that by allowing me to have thrusting both anally and vaginally, while still leaving my other hand free for my clit. Unfortunately, Flex's anal probe is half as thick as my usual anal toys, so even with the added thrusting, I don't get as much anal stimulation as I'd like.
The silicone is quite firm. It has a smooth, slightly shiny surface that creates a lot of drag before lube is applied, but becomes very slippery after.
The main shaft has little to no give, and can only be slightly bent. It is totally smooth, with no seams.
True to the name, the anal probe does flex, since it is much thinner. It can be bent completely in half, so it should bend to fit any body, but it is still firm enough that it isn't floppy and can support it's own weight. The anal probe has a beaded texture, which adds stimulation while thrusting.
Flex is available in 2 shades of purple. I have Midnight Purple, which is a shimmery plum colour, with swirls of darker purple.
The anal probe is a bit on the small side, with 4 1/4" insertable inches and a 2 1/4" circumference, which is about as thick as my thumb. Unlike a lot of beaded anal toys, the circumference stays the same throughout, and the probe doesn't get thicker towards the bottom. The beads are slightly irregular in shape and size, but on average they are about 3/4" long. This would be a good size for those who are new to anal play, or who just prefer to use smaller toys. More advanced users will be able to easily slip this in with no warm up. Since it will be used along with the more filling vaginal portion, it may not feel as small as it usually would. The probe is made up of 6 beads, but only 5 can be inserted. The anal probe naturally lies about 1/2" away from the shaft, but since this portion is so flexible it can be angled to suit anyone's anatomy.
Flex has a wide base, which makes a good handhold, and allows it to be used in a harness (though I can't speak to how well it performs that way.) There is a standard sized bullet hole in the bottom, and unlike any of my other dildos, this one has ridges inside to really lock the bullet into place. Flex does not come with a suction cup, but you can always add this one if you want to use it that way.
Silicone lubes can bond to silicone toys, causing damage. However, according to the Tantus website, since they use platinum grade silicone, there are rarely problems with any lubricant. It is still recommended that you perform a patch test on the bottom of the base, just in case.
Silicone toys can be stored together, along with toys made from plastic, metal or glass, but other soft materials like jelly and TPR should be stored separately.
