The Getaway Pure is designed to be inserted into the vagina and is intended for such use, though it could be used in the anus. This vibrator can be used to stimulate both the g-spot and the clitoris, though not simultaneously. In using this product, I find that it is best suited for women as the shape of the shaft as well as the fact that the base that controls the vibrations could pop off if twisted the wrong way while use for anal could prove to be uncomfortable. Given that this vibrator is rather loud, I would recommend using it on those nights alone or for a bit of foreplay before diving into a night of fun filled pleasure.

Upon opening the beautiful white box that held the Getaway Pure, I found that there was no smell to the vibrator whatsoever. The silicone used to craft this product is extremely soft to the touch and, while it is a bit plush, it has a firmness that will help the toy keep its shape after multiple uses. The shaft is smooth and a bit curved at the head. At the base of the shaft there is a break in the toy where the cap meets the base of the shaft. The cap, which is the base of the vibrator, flares out a bit, kind of like the wings of an airplane. Get it? Airplanes take you to get away's?

The texture is definitely great for both beginners and advanced users alike as this vibrator will provide for a comfortable, pleasurable experience to most.

Personally, I'm a sucker for smooth vibrators and dildos with a bit of a curve to the head. I find that they are far more comfortable to use than things that have more texture. I will say, though, that if you like texture that you might not find this vibrator to be enjoyable and may very well want to pass it over when you're considering your next great toy.

Let's talk about the shaft. The head of the shaft is curved in order to locate and stimulate the g-spot. The curved head gives a bit more of a cone of error so to speak in finding the g-spot since not all women's spots are located in the same place (if you're not familiar with a "cone of error", it's used when forecasters track hurricanes to show where the storm has a possibility of going). From the head down to the base of the shaft is smooth, providing for no interference of extra material to keep the vibrations from pulsating as they were designed to. The cap at the base of the toy is easy to remove to reveal the battery chamber and easy to replace once the batteries are in place.

The size of this vibrator is fairly standard and should work for most who are comfortable with 6" - 8" toys, real or manufactured, inserted into the vagina. Because of the size, though, it is not easy to hide and is not discreet for travel. If you want to travel with this toy, keep it in the storage box that it comes with so that it remains hidden from view.

Using this vibrator for the first time is confusing if you have never used a Nomi Tang product before. This vibrator is different from other vibrators in that the controls for the vibrations are not so basic and easy to figure out. Turning the toy on is the easiest part. There is a button located on the cap of the vibrator that powers it on. There is a hard plastic piece that extends from the lip of the cap (at the base) to where the power button is. That little piece is what controls the vibration settings. It took me four days to figure that out. The logo at the tip of the plastic piece lights up blue to let you know that it's on. To cycle through the four solid vibration settings, starting from the softest and leading up to the strongest, slide a finger down to the base of the cap to kick the vibrations up a notch. To decrease the strength of the vibrations, slide your finger up to the lighted logo at the tip of the piece. In order to activate the four cycles of pulsating vibrations, hold a finger over the logo for a few seconds until you feel the pattern of vibrations. Again, slide a finger down to the base of the piece to increase the intensity of the pulses and up to the logo to decrease the intensity of the pulses. To return to the steady vibrations, hold a finger over the logo once more and it will return to your regularly scheduled settings. To turn the toy off, simply press the power button and you're done.

The vibrations are all located along the shaft and in the head of the vibrator, though the vibrations tend to be rather weak in the head area and stronger along the straight portion of the shaft. I detest the controls for the vibrations because of how sensitive they are to touch. For instance, if you are really going at it and your covers brush the piece of your fingers do, you could lose the strength and intensity you had and pause to regain it. It's frustrating to be honest. Also, I found the vibrations to feel a lot stronger when I held it in my hand than when I used it in my vagina. I was, honestly, disappointed in how weak the vibrations were and how they did nothing for me. For as noisy as the vibrations are, I had anticipated they would perform well in use. If you like hard vibrations, definitely steer clear of this toy as you may very well be disappointed.

To clean the Getaway Pure, wash it in warm water with some soap or use a bleach solution to completely sterilize it. Since this vibrator is made of silicone it is non porous and can be sterilized if used with other partners. If you decide to use lube, use water based only as silicone lube will ruin the material completely.

I recommend storing this toy in the box with which it came packaged in. It's a beautiful box and it will keep this toy safe from other materials that may destroy it.

The Getaway Pure comes packaged in a beautiful white box with white satin inside to give the vibrator a fancy flair. There are, however, no instructions on how to use this product and I had to fight with it myself before I figured it out.
