In a word, AWESOME

The Vr7 is comfortable to hold, a little tricky to master, but an great investment! Bath-tub and shower safe, rechargeable, and travel friendly. The Vr7 is a great addition to your toy arsenal. As the girl who never really liked "rabbits", I think I finally found one to love!
Published: January 14, 2011
Pros:
Body safe silicone, rechargeable, powerful, without being numbing or painful, whisper quiet.
Cons:
Lint magnet, the insertable portion may be too long for some, may be too powerful of some people.

Use

The Jopen Vanity Vr7 is not your traditional "rabbit" vibe. It's smooth, plush silicone curves and ergonomic design make appealing to the eye as well as an excellent dual stimulation vibrator. The fully submergible waterproof design makes it ideal for some fun in the tub, and rechargeable battery will appeal those of us trying to be green while we get off! The lock feature and included travel pouch makes this the perfect toy for a romantic get-away

Material / Texture

Made of hypoallergenic silicone with a slightly matte texture. The Vr7 is almost seamless and holds on to lube well. Unfortunately like most silicone it's a lint magnet. The insertable portion is soft and yielding, while the clitoral portion which contains the "power-bullet" cups the contours of the body.

Design / Shape / Size

The insertable portion rotates rather than vibrates and shaped with a thicker base and a slight curve to hit the g-spot. This bulged bas provides a pleasant feeling of fullness while still allowing room for the curved portion to wiggle around your g-spot.

The clitoral stimulator is nothing short of amazing. I now know why they call it a "power-bullet", even on the lightest setting it's crossing, knee tremblingly good. It's powerful, but not to the point of pain or over numbness.

Unfortunately, it's not really suitable for anal use, you totally could use it anally, but doing so would put too much stress on the base where it meets the clitoral stimulator (so you might break it!), and the type of silicone it's made of tends to cling to odors.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The Vr7 has two buttons the top controls the rotating insertable portion while the bottom controls the clitoral stimulator. You hold either button down until you reach your desired intensity. A quick press of the button shuts the function off. This is both handy, and in my opinion a pain in the ass. It's great if you hear the kids coming and need to shut your toy off real quick, but if you hold the button down longer than you want (i.e. the toy is vibrating at a level higher than you want) you have to press it to shut off and start over. Depending how you hold the toy during use you can accidentally nudge the button, shutting the toy off at an inopportune time. So with a little bit of practice on how to fine tune and hold the toy, you can get your ideal amount of sensation with minimal hiccups.

Despite being super powerful, it manages to stay really quiet, at the highest intensity, I could barely hear it through the covers with the TV on.

The Vr7 has a lock feature, which I think is fantastic! Holding both buttons down for 4 seconds locks the toy, so it won't accidentally turn on in your bag, or in your toybox.

The rechargeable battery takes 3-4 hours to fully charge and the LED indicator light will turn from red to white when it's charged. The plug is a long headset type pin that is pushed into the base of the toy. So unlike the fun-factory toys you can plug it in and stash it behind a book or under a pillow without having to worry about the toy disconnecting from the base. A full charge will last (in my experience) about 6 hours of run time. It will however, loose it's charge over a few days without use.

Care and Maintenance

Clean with soap and water, toy cleanser, or wipe with a bleach solution. DO NOT clean it while charging, i should hope that goes without saying! It is fully submergible, but I wouldn't recommend boiling it, I didn't want risk it.

Packaging

The Vr7 comes in a tasteful white box with an instruction slip and a pamphlet of Jopen's other products. It also comes with a soft nylon travel/storage bag, and of course, the charger

Personal comments

I generally don't care for "rabbit" style vibrators, the insertable portion is never the right shape to truly hit my g-spot and clit at the same time. I found this to be true of the Vr7, but the wider base of the insertable portion and the AMAZING intensity of the clit bullet more than made up for it.
Follow-up commentary
While it survived the abuse I put my toys through, I still believe it's a quality toy. It just doesn't have the "oomph" to the wiggle that I'd like; I wish it just had a little more wriggle to it's wiggle.

  • What is your favourite rabbit type vibe?

  • Vr7 Vs Vr10-11-12
    • Can anyone tell me what the specific differences are between the Jopen line's Vr7 and Vr10, Vr11, and Vr12?

I have seen and held the Vr7, but not the others. I can see that the end is different, and that the shaft of the Vr7 appears to be smaller both in length and width, and that the small arm/ear portion of the vibe seems to be a somewhat different shape, and that the Vr10, 11, and 12 have a couple little ribs in the middle of the shaft.

And of course, the Vr10, 11, and 12 come with the little charging port stand thing.

Are there any other major differences? I saw a video somewhere where a girl was showing how you can adjust the flexibility or degree of rotation on the Vr10, and it didn't /seem/ like you could do that with the Vr7. Is this true? Are the vibrations different? Fewer settings? In terms of actual functioning?

I've also heard the silicone for some reason is different on some of the Vanity line, like the Vr3 apparently is more of a lint magnet than some of the others, or something? What have your experiences been with the Jopen silicone in that regard both with these toys specifically as well as any others in the Vanity line you may own or otherwise have experience with?
    • well I was looking for an answer to this question myself. looks like the community was unble to help in the last 5 months. :(
