Lucid dream 14 - g-spot vibrator discontinued by Doc Johnson - review by Adriesty

This is a great multi-function toy. It works as a g-spot insertable, as well as a great clit simulator. The bullet in the tip really allows for great vibrations on the g-spot, as well as the clit; but the vibrations travel through the shaft well, so it really gets everywhere. The shape of the toy doesn't really allow for a lot of thrusting, but you can get some motion, if you want. The vibrations are strong, but discreet.
This was actually my first g-spot toy. While it did take me a while to actually find my g-spot, once I found it it was a great- The shaft is flexible, but not floppy, and this toy's vibrations really finish the job.
The vibrations of this toy are fantastic; they go from "getting warmed up" to "finish me right now." The vibrations are controlled by a dial at the base, and as time wears on, the dial does get a little touchy. I've had it for over a year now, though, and I've just started noticing the dial issue.
The vibrations are very discreet- I've been living in dorms for 4 years now, and this is the first vibrator I've had that wasn't noticeable. There is a slight buzz that gets louder as the vibrations go up, but it's only one step up from a cell phone vibration sound. I have noticed after a year that the buzzing has gotten louder, perhaps because the dial is getting a little looser.
It takes 2 AA batteries, and they actually last a pretty decent time; but like all batteries they depend on how often you use them. I've had a few battery eating vibes, and this is not one of them. The only other issue is because it is a jelly toy, it does have that jelly smell. It was really strong when I first got it, and it still smells a little bit to this very day.
As for the waterproof, I have used it in the shower, but never completely submerged.
All in all, this is a great toy.
PROS: good vibes, discreet, g-spot and clit simulation, waterproof.
CONS: After a year, it still has some of that plastic jelly smell, wear and tear on the dial controls, vibe has gotten louder.

The material is jelly; I don't mind it very much, but I think it would be a better toy if it were made out of something better.
It is smooth, but the scent is off putting. The plastic/rubbery/jelly smell was very strong when I first got it. After a few washes, it diminished; but even after a year, it still smells and tastes like plastic/jelly.
Because jelly is flexible, the shaft does have some bendy-ness to it, which is great for reaching your g-spot.
Because it's jelly, I can't sanitize this, but I can wash it easily enough.
PRO: Easy wash, smooth, flexible.
CON: Can't sanitize, smell and taste.

The design is great. Once you find your g-spot, it has a large head with vibrations directly in it to stimulate it. The shaft is also bendy to get the pressure just right.
The size is actually a little larger than I expected; a lot of g-spot toys I had seen before were very slim.
The head of the toy is curved and just under 5 inches around (not 5 inches wide- 5 inches around!).
The head slims down dramatically to the shaft, which is only about 2 1/2 inches around (again, not wide). The shaft expands to just over 5 inches around, and ends in the dial base. The varying sizes from the head to the base allow for a lot of different simulation.
My biggest pet peeve is the dial base. It's easy to adjust, but because it's at the bottom of the toy, it can get hard to manipulate. It also does get a little touchy over time.

This toy delivers great vibrations that travel from a bullet located in the head of the toy, all the way down the shaft. It's also not very loud, so it's easy to be discreet.
The manufacturer says it's waterproof, but I've never completely submerged it in the tub. I have used in the shower, with no ill effects.
I hate the dial base- not enough to completely give up on this toy. I just think controls on the base of toys, especially insertables, are so awkward to use.
The toy also lasts- it's not a battery guzzler, but I've also had it for almost 2 years with no ill effects, aside from what I consider normal wear and tear (such as the dial wearing out).

This toy is very easy to clean. I did buy a toy cleaner to use with it because it is a jelly toy; but cleaning is just warm water and toy cleaner. I don't like that I can't sanitize this and use it with others, but that is just the downfall of the jelly material.
I store it in a small tote with my other toys, and I haven't noticed any ill effects.
I use water or silicone lubes with no ill effect, as well. I tend to prefer water based lubes because I feel they are easy to clean off of the jelly material.

The packaging was just a plastic box, with the name emblazoned all over it. It was actually kind of cute with the font and such. It did have some instructions, but they weren't incredibly detailed. I wasn't able to reuse the box, however; it's flimsy plastic and got ripped.

For my first g-spot toy, I have absolutely no complaints, and I keep coming back to this one again and again (and again). The varying intensity and the discreet vibrations make this perfect for almost any place. While I don't like the jelly material or the dial controls, the shape and vibrations of this toy are amazing.

I really love this toy; even though the smell was off putting, the shape gets all the right spots. Or, if I just want a quickie, the head of the toy acts as a great clitoral simulator.
