My fav for couples (and almost for solo!)
Best dollars you will expend ever, especially if you want a little extra help during intercourse that no guy will find intimidating. Always gets the work done, and as quickly as you want.Published: August 18, 2009
Pros:
Small, cute, standard batteries, incredible orgasmic tip.
Cons:
Unsafe material: jelly and not phthalates free.
This dolphin is cute and tiny, but mighty! Since the first time, I've found the small flexible dolphin shape the most orgasmic ever. With just one AA battery, it delivers vibes powerful enough to give you an intense orgasm quickly. Just turn on and apply!
Although for some time it was my favorite toy for solo sex, where I think it beats any other I've tried during sex with my partner. He is not much into sex toys, and big or wired toys are a big put off for him. But this is a toy he has even took the initiative to use during sex, and enjoy it. I think it's because it's so tiny and unobtrusive, but at the same time it really works and the vibes are quite pleasurable for him too. And it's not completely silent, but I found it quiet enough to not be distracting while at it.
The bad (and it's quite bad). It's jelly, a porous material that attracts everything you don't want to see sticking to your vibe. And worst, it's not phthalates free. I decided that for me that was ok as long as I didn't use internally, after researching it. I guess you can use a condom over it, but for me that kills part of the fun in this particular toy, (I am the only one who uses this toy, so no risk at that).
Cleaning: they cannot be disinfected, you will have to use just mild soap and warm water, and store away from other toys. These are the reasons this is the only jelly toy I have, and why I would never use one internally without a condom. Also, it's because of this that I give it 4 stars instead of 5.
About the waterproof-ness. Be careful or you will have to get a second dolphin, as I did. It's ok to use it in the shower, but not during a bath. I did and the internal compartment got completely soaked and, even if I dried carefully afterward, it never got back to working. Good thing that it is so cheap.

What does material safety mean?
-
I noticed on the dolphin clit teaser that the material safety level is a 2..? Is that based mostly on porosity and sterility or does it have dangerous chemicals in it? Anyone know? I have read that it smells funny, so it has me wondering.

I would also suggest reading the reviews, many reviewers talk about materials and how to clean them and use them safely.
Jelly: "Jelly material can't be sterilized like silicone-so no boiling water. Since jelly toys can't be sanitized they can't be shared-unless you put a condom over them. Clean jelly toys with the warm water and toy cleaner. Don't use strong soaps on them and keep in a cool dark place." -
I believe the material safety level is based on porosity/ how hospitable the material is to bacteria. I'm sure the material safety level has nothing to do with dangerous chemicals.
