Paul and Paulina sex toy review
The Paul & Paulina left me unsatisfied. I wasn’t impressed at all. I think the shaft got too wide and wasn’t easily insert-able. The g-spot shape head didn’t hit my g-spot. It definitely is not the Japanese G-Spot Squirmy or the Gigi. Overall, I have to give the Paul & Paulina 2 Stars.Published: July 6, 2008
Pros:
Controls
Cons:
I want more power!!!
The newest toy in my toy box is the Paul & Paulina by Fun Factory. It looks interesting, but I wasn’t sure what to expect simply by the looks of it. I took it out of the package, and still wasn’t sure what to expect but was glad it was at least made of 100% silicone, which always makes me happy. I opened the battery compartment only to discover it required 4AA batteries, and was a royal pain to insert them. Once I finally got the batteries in correctly, it was time to play.
I put the clitoral stimulator up against my clit to try to get me nice and wet, but it wasn’t very powerful. Once I was ready to play I inserted the vibe. The twisting was all right, but overall, I didn’t enjoy it.
There are plenty of positives and negatives about this toy. It has independent twist and shake controls, as well as a separate power button. That is always helpful.
The power was decent, but there could have been a little more shaking. Maybe it’s just me but I always want more power. It would definitely be fine for a beginner, or someone who only needs minimal power. The twisting was fine.
I had a hard time getting the toy to hit the right spots. The shaft had to be inserted quite a bit to even feel the clitoral piece, which is the best part (in my eyes).

Follow-up commentary

This toy has made it to the toys I rarely use case. I don't think I've used it since I reviewed it.

realistic or non?

do you prefer realistic or non realistic vibes? i like the ones that don't look like penises but still have some familiar shape, such as this one

I have both realistic and non-realistic toys, and I find that the "heads" of realistic toys provide more stimulation for me most of the time. However, there are times when the shapes of my non-realistic toys are very stimulating as well. Guess it depends on the actual toy itself and my preference that day :-)

Thank you for viewing Paul and Paulina – sex toy review page!

It looks like it would be difficult to clean, did you find that it was?
Not really. A little warm soup and water did the trick. I'm not planning on sharing it with anyone else so I wasn't too concerned.
I hate when the shaft is too long and you have to really strain to get to the good part (the clitoral stimulator). I have the Sally Seal, and I also haven't used it since I reviewed it because it wouldn't hit my clit right.
So how big is your rarely used case because most of your toys are seeming to end up in there?
Sorry this didn't work well for you. I agree with you and Epiphora about hating to have to practically pound a toy in with a mallet in order to get to the clit stimulator!
Does the shaft of this vibrate as well as rotate, or are the vibrations all in the clit stimulator?
Have you used any of F.F.s other vibes, and if so is this one worse or comparable? I hear quite a wide range of feedback on their vibrators.
I have used other fun factory toys. I have had some issues with the batteries dying VERY quickly.
I love the fact it's pure silicone as opposed to tpr silicone.. but it's such a shame it lacks the oomph you'd expect.
good review.
Nice Job!
Thanks for the review!
