Push my buttons!

I now prefer this toy hands-down over any of my other vibrators. As my first escalating and pulsating toy, I would say that I no longer want to own any that don't have this variety of functions. Not only do I have fun putting it through all the things it can do, but so did my boyfriend when I gave him control.

Use

The first time I used this toy, I only had two words: HOLY COW. Excellent for use on its own for clitoral stimulation or experiencing vibrations on any other part of the body you find enjoyable. I have not yet used this with another toy, but I'm sure it would be great. Because it uses 4 AA batteries, this toy really packs a punch. The seven vibration functions also create a nice variety during each session it is used, providing additional excitement by cycling through the functions easily with the push of a button. Also, men love remotes. If you have him in the bedroom with you, let him push your buttons for an unpredictable, teasing rollercoaster of a ride.

Material / Texture

Made of iridescent plastic, the remote and battery pack for this toy are smooth and comfortable to hold, while the connecting wire provides plenty of length in use for couples. The bullet itself is made of silver metallic plastic and has a smooth, mirrored finish. (Should you make a mess, this toy would be easy to clean with mild soap and warm water, as long as you do not immerse it as it is not waterproof.)

Design / Shape / Size

The finish and color of the remote make it look very attractive and exciting, highlighting all the choices you have with the Ultra 7. Because it does not take up too much space, but remains powerful, this toy is a hard worker that's still easy to transport. Fitting easily into the front zipper pocket of my suitcase, it was easy to take this around with me during my Christmas vacation travels.

Functions / Performance / Controls

Despite all the wonderful things about this toy, it is LOUD. It wouldn't be surprised if you told me that it ruined the mood at some point, sounding like there was a jackhammer working on your nether regions. Fine if you welcome a little comic relief in the bedroom, but it makes a little bit difficult to get down to any kind of serious business. Even while using this toy on your own, the noise can be distracting. But, if you take full advantage of the varied functions that the Ultra 7 offers, you won't even notice the noise. You might forget where you are completely. No matter what you prefer in terms of vibrations, I'm sure this toy has it. It's also great for controlling your level excitement manually, since you can take it up a few notches and then cool back down if you're not ready to be done with play time.

Care and Maintenance

This toy is totally low maintenance, requiring only that you don't get it wet or smash it in a drawer. I would also recommend keeping it somewhere that the buttons won't be pushed accidentally - they are easy to push! (Also keep that in mind while using. If you get distracted and start bumping buttons you might disrupt your own groove.) As I said, I've not tried it with another toy yet, but I'm sure it would boost the function of any bullet-ready toy to the max. This makes me want to acquire something to use it with right now.

Follow-up commentary
I would say that I have mostly made this a solo toy, and I probably use it more days than not. It's consistent! It does its job! It's still fun to cycle through the different functions if I feel like I'm not getting where I want to go when I want to get there. I have not had to replace the batteries yet either, which is impressive and more than I can say for any other toy that I've used this consistently. (And my boyfriend still asks if we can use it sometimes.)

Wow. A 5 out of 5 in power? I've never seen a battery powered toy with Hitachi/Wahl strength before. It looks good, but with kids, we can't use loud toys.

What kind of batteries does it take? Do they last long? What length is the cord? How big is the bullet?

These are things I always like to know about toys like these.

P'Gell, the power rating of course is my own opinion. I find that it's strong enough to actually be uncomfortable if not warmed up enough first. As I mentioned above in my review, it takes 4 AAA batteries and the bullet is the same size as any standard-sized bullet. The cord is 30" long.

Sorry, AA. It really does seem to be performing well on them. It has less battery drain than less powerful vibrators I have used before.
