Impulse ultra 7-bullet - slim bullet discontinued by Cal Exotics - review by xdarkdreamerx

The Impulse Ultra 7 bullet vibe was my very first vibrator. I loved having the options for the different settings that are provided, but to be honest, I pretty much only used the constant medium and high speed the majority of the time. The functions (escalating, pulsating, surging and vibrating)are fun to play with, though, and can help build things up. I do feel like the low setting was really to low for anything and usually start with medium and worked my way up.

I did notice that it can get a little warm with continued use. Nothing too uncomfortable, but noticeable.
The Impulse is very smooth, which I liked, but you can easily add a bullet sleeve for different textures.
The smooth texture of The Impulse Ultra 7 makes it very easy to keep clean. I normally used a spray toy cleaner and never had any problems.

This bullet was not too noisy, but definitely has a noticeable hum when used on high. I think it was good for a first vibe and it helped me find what I was into going into future toys. It is very simple and easy to use. I love that it has a separate on/off switch so that it is easy to quickly turn it off if needed. The worst thing in the world to get caught using your toy when you are trying to have some private time!

This is a good toy all around and honestly, I'd probably still be using it if the cord hadn't broken after a few years of having it and going through a move.

Nowadays though I prefer something that is rechargeable because buying batteries all the time is annoying and can be costly. Plus, I love that rechargeable toys are better for the environment, but the fact that it needs four AA batteries tells you it has a bit of power to it.
