Ride the Waves, Baby!

This toy is really vague. There's no actual g-spot or clitoral stimulation. Instead, the toy sort of buzzes around your bits and if your anatomy is JUST right, you might get some enjoyment out of it. Also, be single and home alone, because this thing is ridiculously loud. A few people got lucky with it, but it's very expensive. So read around, shop around before purchasing this bad boy.

Use

This toy is for someone who either lives solo or only with their partner. No kids, family, roommates or parents. This toy is way too loud to even consider that, it'll have them barging into your room asking you what kind of construction you're doing in there! Besides that, if you're not a bit of a size queen then this won't work for you. If you are though, and have a lot of patience (and lube) this could easily become your new best friend. The waving sensation is different and I'll admit, very pleasant and if you can get off with sufficient buzzing around your clitoral area this is a good toy for you. So if you're looking for something different, this is a toy you might wanna consider.

Material / Texture

This TPR toy didn't smell like any rubber and is completely smooth. Besides for these tiny ridges that help assist the wave motion, I think it's a good choice of texture for such a girthy toy.
    • No odor
    • Porous
    • Smooth

Design / Shape / Size

The big issue with this toy, is the size of the shaft. This big boy is huge at 5 3/4 inches, which is pretty intense. If you aren't used to girthier toys, there are better selections out there. This toy required a lot of patience, lube and erotica for me to even gear up to try it and I still felt sore afterwards. Besides that ,the butterfly, it'll either work or it won't. I haven't really seen a middle ground for this and for a 100 bucks, don't know if it's worth the gamble.

Functions / Performance / Controls

This toy had a pretty interesting concept. Instead of the traditional rotating piece, the toy claimed to have a "Waving" sensation. The controls are pretty basic. There's two rows of squigly lines and dots. One controls the vibration and one controls the waving. You can press the up and down arrows to increase or decrease either motion.
Now this toy is thick, so it's kind of difficult to grip. I have long arms and pretty long fingers and even I felt somewhat awkward trying to grip the toy. The waving motion overall, was different and pleasant. It was different and way better than I had expected. However there wasn't much power behind it, so maybe somebody a little bit more sensitive could get something out of it. Then there's the HUGE butterfly of Doom, it's a huge clit attachment which didn't vibrate on my clit, but simply around the clitoral area. While this was hot and arousing, it was moreso frustrating to keep almost getting close, but never finally there. This toy is also ridiculously loud, and there is no instant turn off switch. You will get caught if you have a roommate, parents or some other awkward situation to worry about. This is also waterproof which makes keeping it clean a lot more simple. If you can deal with the girth and the ridiculously annoying noise, this might be a keeper for you.
    • Battery guzzler
    • Not very discreet

Care and Maintenance

This toy is made out of TPR. TPR is less pourous than cyberskin but still moreso than silicone so condom usage when sharing is recommended. TPR toys cannot be disinfected, You can only use warm water, soap and toy cleaner.
I keep this toy stored with other TPR/Jelly toys in a drawer. You can use silicone or water lubricants with the Passion Wave Butterfly.

I don't enjoy the smell of TPR at all...this is the first TPR toy that I've seen reviewed without note of an unpleasant smell. Good review!

I've yet to find a lower end rabbit/butterfly/whathaveyou that has a quieter motor. So sad. Thanks for the review!

Thanks for the review this will come off my list, I don't do TPR toys anyways but wanted to try this because of the "wave" factor. Just won't be powerful enough for me
