Candida Royalle is one of my favorite pornographic film directors, and I had been hearing all kinds of interesting things about her sex toy line, Natural Contours. I even saw them used in her awesome film "AfroDite Superstar" and was really jealous. Luckily for me, a Natural Contours toy showed up to be reviewed. A match made in heaven? I think so!

I liked the packaging of this sex toy a lot. A cute little see through box, that slid open (rather than tearing), and so could be used for storage. Plus, it came with batteries - HUGE advantage, since it meant I could try it out the same day without running to the store. I like the style of it. Superbe massager didn't LOOK like a sex toy per se (I'm not sure quite what it looks like, but not a sex toy), which is awesome, since I left it on the coffee table for a few hours while I ran errands, and my roommates never knew the difference. It's a fun color (and not pink!) and is very modern looking, something I enjoy in my vibrators.

Superbe massager is made out of plastic, which means it's pretty easy to clean (toy cleaner, rubbing alcohol, etc), and won't harbor bacteria (phthalate free as well!). However, I'm not as much of a plastic fan, just because it doesn't always feel as good against your more sensitive areas.

This sex toy advertises being quiet, and it certainly was. I tested the Superbe massager with my roommates in the other room, and didn't have to turn on the TV or cover myself in pillows the way I've had to with some other clitoral stimulators (like the Magic Wand...). The three levels of vibration felt pretty similar to me, all at a nice medium level. This was great to get me really turned on, but it took me a pretty good amount of time, and much changing of angles, to actually get off. I also kept accidentally opening the battery pack, but it might have just been the way I was holding it. Who knows?

While I can't see me using this as my "all the time" vibrator, it definitely rocks! It's great for travel and fits anywhere, so it would be great for secret masturbatory forays on the train, at the office, or the park. I would also use the Superbe massager with a partner during foreplay to add a little more spice in my life. Plus it's really freaking cute, so I might use it to add a nice mod look to my living room. Hey, you never know what someone will think is art!
