The Calla Lily: not my favorite "flower".

Great product concept, but in my opinion it falls short of being the perfect rabbit vibe especially considering the cost.

Very good clitoral stimulator.
Cons
Shaft is too long. LED lights are too intense.

It is very rare that I find anything that I don’t just love or at least like a lot or will happily use. The description on the box was exciting, alluring and made me want to immediately play with it. 8 speeds of G-spot shaft rotation with 3 functions. 8 speeds of clitoral and G-spot vibrations with 3 functions. Powerful micro-bullet. Unscented TPR material. LED lit automatic on/off and control buttons. Sensuous soft shape. Full contact. Sleek NEW waterproof controller. The base, a lovely soft blue metallic color and almost clear shaft and clitoral stimulator. And indeed, it has and is all of these things. But that does not mean that they are all combined to make a perfect vibe or that they are right for everyone.

The box claims that it is waterproof. In fact, it is indeed waterproof…I put that to the test and found no leakage at all even after it had been in the shower with me for 10 minutes. Not all products that claim to be waterproof actually are…some are simply water resistant. The Calla Lily survived me and my shower and thus I am pretty sure, when tightened properly to ensure the seal is set, it is waterproof under most any condition.

The clitoral stimulator, which thankfully does not have any animal design or face on it (as so many others do with clitoral dolphin designs for example) holds a small bullet that really does have quite a powerful punch to it at any speed, but when on high can be rather intense when held directly on your clitoris. As the box claims, it has 8 speeds and 3 functions. I tried them all….again and again and found it to be a really great sensation. You can get a steady buzz or an intermittent one. Nothing real discreet here though since it is rather loud.

The shaft is what really caused me problems though. The almost clear silicone of the shaft, which you can actually see through and see some wiring and the micro-bullet, was not my cup of tea. I don’t want clear or see through silicone. I don’t want to see wires that are going to be going inside of my body. The rotating head, with it’s micro-bullet, which in theory and when held in your hand and turned on, sounds and looks like loads of pleasure. In reality it is not so much. When inside of your vagina the rotation is not as perceptible as you would think since the pressure of it inside causes the handle part that is outside of your body to actually move instead of the shaft moving. This is suppose to stimulate your G-spot, but I found that when I had the shaft against my G-spot, the clitoral stimulator was not anywhere near to my clitoris. Likewise, when I had the clitoral stimulator in place, the shaft was about 2 inches too long to stimulate my G-spot. Perhaps if it was about 2 inches shorter it might work a lot better to reach both the G-spot and the clit at the same time. But as I stated, the clitoral stimulator is great.

My only other concern is actually the LED lights on the buttons. After using this in the shower first, I took it to bed with me that night as well. In my bedroom, with the lights low, those intense red LED lights are almost like a laser pointer and when tilted just the right way, almost blinded me. Seriously! I suggest a softer light, possibly a blue one.

The Calla Lily operates on 3 AA batteries that are so easily inserted in the slide out battery compartment. Shaft length for the Calla Lily is approximately 5.5 insertable inches with a width of 1.5 inches and overall length of about 10 inches. Clean up is easy with this type of toy as it only takes soap and warm water, toy cleaner or alcohol.
Follow-up commentary
Have tried several more times, but still not crazy about this. It is a good product, but just doesn't do it for me personally.

Why on earth did they name this toy the Calla Lily if it looks nothing like one? lol

    I wondered that exact thing.

This is pretty - I would have thought the lights would be blue Smile
    Good review!

Yes, I also would have expected the lights to be a soft blue, such as in CalExotics Patina Rabbit, but these were BRIGHT laser pointer red. Very distracting.
