This is a very small but powerful tongue vibrator kit that will please your partner. It might not please you, however, the vibrations and rubber bands were uncomfortable for my husband and I.

You do not have to have a pierced tongue to use this, it comes with 3 different sized silicone bands that are designed to put around either your tongue or a finger.

The vibrator and tongue rings are stainless steel, the sleeves are silicone, the tongue bands are silicone and it also has a cord and battery pack that is hard plastic.

There was no real taste, just a light metal essence. The bands and sleeves have no flavor. There is no odor.

The four sleeves that came with the Tongue Joy are textured for your pleasure. You have ribbed, wavy, nobby and smooth textures to choose from, and there is a texture that is just right for everyone.

On the receiving end, I was over the top orgasmic and so was my husband when I vibrated his unit around a bit. On the giving end, I think that with the amount of people that have tongue rings, this will be a great hit. For those of us without, well, the silicone bands were a bit uncomfortable and having something hitting my teeth was too much. The vibrations were uncomfortable and the tongue band kept slipping off the tongue, the band worked great on his finger, though. The vibrating bullet part is about 1 1/4"x1/2" diameter and is powered by two small watch batteries. To use this with a tongue ring you need to unscrew the base of the steel battery cylinder, insert the batteries and replace it securely. The silicone sleeves fit right on to the bullet, a dab of lube helps, but be careful during removal and roll the up the shaft. I ripped one the first time I removed one. The Tongue Joy and all its attachments fit nicely in the satin pouch, which is small enough to hide easily. If you remove the stitched name on the front, you can pull it off as a mini make-up case. If the vibrator was quieter, this would be one of the most discrete toys ever made. It does travel very well, though, and you can slip a couple of sample lube packets and toy wipes in the pouch with the kit and still have a minute bit of room left.

There is only one vibration speed when used with the tongue ring attachment. Slide the tongue ring onto the small metal bar attached to the mini-bullet and screw the bar into the battery cylinder, this turns it on. Make sure all your attachments are tight and then let your tongue get to work. The dial takes a bit of work with this option, but is not impossible by any means. It is on during insertion and removal onto the tongue.

If you use the large battery pack, remove the compartment opening, put 2 AA batteries inside, replace the compartment door and plug it into the mini-bullet. You will have 2 speeds, low and high (or as I called them - 'damn that's good!' or 'OMG I'm going to cum!!!'), the dial is also used to turn it on and off.

Being made of surgical steel, the Tongue Joy is rust-proof and water-proof. It makes a great vibe for women who squirt and also as a bath vibe (small battery cylinder ONLY).The vibrations are located in the one inch bullet, however they are felt a bit throughout and even through the silicone tongue bands.

I loved receiving, but was not thrilled with giving unless I had it on my fingers. That much vibrating steel in my mouth was uncomfortable and also dangerous to my front teeth. My husband had the same opinion on these issues.

Disassemble the Tongue Joy and wash the empty - but sealed, battery cylinder, tongue ring and bullet in warm water and dish soap, scrub very well, especially around indentations, etc. and rinse thoroughly. Sanitize these with rubbing alcohol and either put them away in the pouch or dunk them into Listerine and let them air dry. The Listerine also disinfects and leaves a familiar flavor on the parts.

Wash the silicone rings and sleeves separately in a mild bleach solution - 1 teaspoon bleach per 2 cups water. Rinse thoroughly!!! Then place in boiling water for 10-15 minutes. Remove them, dry them and place them in their pouch. I would sometimes dunk them in Listerine and let them air dry before I put them away, after they were boiled, of course.

The Tongue Joy kit comes in its own padded satin pouch with a snap on the front flap for closure. This is perfect for storage. The name is printed on the front, so be aware that it s not very discrete if someone sees your pouch. The pouch is about 3"x4" and is about 1.2" thick when full.

I am giving the Tongue Joy a high rating due to its potential with various people. It has many positives, and a few negative issues. I personally feel that this is one of those items you will either love or forget in the toy box. There are different ways you can use this, not just orally, and there is potential for someone else.
