Treeze realistic - traditional vibrator by Don Wands - review by Waterfall

The Treeze Realistic by Don Wands is a hybrid wood material vibrator. It can be used for both internal and external use and can work for either males or females. The tip allows for direct clitoral stimulation and the head can also be used to provide a little g-spot stimulation. The size is not very intimidating, so it could work for a variety of users. It is also waterproof so it can be used in the shower.

When I got this one the first thing I noticed in regards to the material was how beautiful the pattern and colors were. It looks brighter in person than in the pictures and has rings of black, brown, and red in a pretty pattern. It is completely smooth and because it is a hybrid wood material (made of wood and urethane) it is non porous, waterproof, and there is no chance of splinters. I find that this material has more glide to it than regular wood, which means that not as much lube is needed. Although there is no real texture, there is a pronounced ridge around the head. I was a little nervous about such a ridge on a firm material, but the head is not uncomfortable to me.

Out of the packaging this has a slight smell of wood, but nothing that you can smell from a distance. It kind of tastes similar to the smell, but only faintly. I don't recommend this for practicing oral techniques because it is very firm. Due to the firmness, care should be taken when thrusting this one because it is long and hard enough to hurt your cervix.

In my opinion this size works best for those who have used insertable toys before, especially because there is no give with wood. It has an insertable length of 7 inches and is 1.5 inches in diameter with a 5 inch circumference. This is only slightly bigger than average, but feels a little larger because of the firmness. I felt just full enough when using it and it was also comfortable enough to thrust with.

The shaft is completely smooth and starts with a realistic head. The head has a ridge that provides a pop on insertion and removal and it can also be used to provide a bit of g-spot stimulation (though this depends on your anatomy). If you find ridges uncomfortable then you should stay away from ridges on firm toys. The shaft is widest in the middle, so the head goes in pretty nicely.

There is no flared base on this so I would say if you want to use it for anal then you should do so with caution. The rings that are close to the bottom should help keep it from sliding all the way inside you, but make sure to keep a firm grip on things.

If I left this out, I think anyone would know what it is, and because it is a pretty big toy it is not easy to hide if you needed to do so in a hurry (unless no one is curious about the big tan pouch it is stored in).

The Treeze Realistic is powered by 2 AA batteries (which are included!!) and controlled by a single push button. It is very easy to use. I get annoyed with push buttons because you need to cycle through every speed/pattern to get back to the one you want and with this toy you also turn the toy off before starting over. Another issue I had with this is that it starts on high vibrations and because I like to start with this one on medium then when I am ready to switch to high I have to go through everything.

This vibe has 3 speeds of vibration: high, medium, and low (they go in this order when you push the button) and different patterns. The patterns are as follows: rapid pulsing followed by steady vibrations of the high and medium levels, slow pulsing that goes into medium and then faster pulsing, steady vibration that fluctuates in strength from high to low, different speeds of pulsing followed by steady vibration, and rapid pulsing for a few pulses followed by high vibrations. The patterns are a little different from what I normally expect with a vibe and I liked them for teasing, but I found it really hard to orgasm from them.

I don't find this one to be particularly loud, but it isn't whisper quiet either. I would say that if you have some background noise then it won't be heard through a closed door. In regards to strength, the vibrations are moderate and can be felt through the whole shaft but are strongest in the tip. I find that I need to thrust a bit with this one in order to orgasm because the vibrations alone don't do it for me.

Because the vibrator that goes inside of this is replaceable, it can be unscrewed. Sometimes when I replace the batteries, I accidentally unscrew the vibe but, this is easy to fix. There is a small ring around the battery cap that keeps water out. I would say that it is safe for shower play, but I would not submerge it.

It is easy to clean this one and I just use soap and water or a toy cleaner. I personally would not recommend using a bleach solution on this because I feel like it might be too harsh. You could use a condom if you plan on sharing with a partner or switching between anal and vaginal if you don't clean it in between.

The Treeze Realistic can be used with water and silicone lubricants.

I keep mine in the padded pouch that was included with the toy.

The Treeze Realistic comes packaged in a clam shell type plastic container (which is also stapled shut). Inside it is nestled on top of the tan padded pouch that comes with it to use for storage, this bag keeps the toy from getting banged up or scratched. It also comes with a sample of Wet Original water based lubricant and batteries. This packaging is easy to recycle and also has some information about the material. This could work for a gift when someone is expecting a sex toy, but if you want to surprise them then you might want to find another box to wrap it in.

Overall I enjoy the Treeze Realistic because I am able to stimulate my g-spot and also thrust with it. It also gives me a nice feeling of fullness because of the hard material and the longer length. I find that I get the most out of this toy when I am fairly warmed up so that I can also slide the head in and out and feel the nice pop it provides. I wasn't sure how much I would like this one, but I was pleasantly surprised and I am glad I decided to give it a try!
